The Batman Arkham franchise is perhaps the least best served on the enhanced consoles – no Arkham Knight upgrade, and a poor PS4 Pro implementation for the Return to Arkham remasters. Now those remasters have hit Xbox One X – and we’re still no closer to a 4K Arkham experience.

I played return to arkham on ps4, and remember it running like ass tbh
John, respecting devs for doing their job is like respecting the postman for delivering my letters, I do not dole my respect out so easy, they got my money, that's enough.
I would like to see them revisit this now on series x if it does more because I just popped the disc in and I feel like it’s even better.
I think it looks great! I hate to say it, but y'all are spoiled 😂
yea just downloaded it to finally play it on series x since i never had xbox 1 x, and i bought it on xbox 1 but never played it that gen, only time i playe ditw as back when it was new on ps3, but it plays bad, feels like 20 fps even on series x
sad it cant play a ps3/x360 era game smoothly
Estos son los mismos que dicen que ff 16 es maravilloso técnicamente 😂
This game looks like ABSOLUTE ASS on series X on a 4k tv. It is aliased to all hell and looks like pixilated GARBAGE.
Was any of this patched? I want to play all three and origins in the highest quality possible on ps5.
As always, console gamers get screwed by lazy devs who don't care about preserving the games
City is, unfortunately, broken on Series X.
Looking back at things in 2022 the 45 fps cap was very much intentional. The patch was so advanced it already took vrr displays into consideration)
Can someone tell me how does this runs on xbox series s ?
When I lowered my brightness to 0 I got better frame rate
I've been playing on Xbox One X, aiming to 100% both games. I don’t remember if this was the same case in Arkham Asylum, but in Arkham City, playing the challenges maps, the frame rate goes up to 60. I haven’t played the more difficult maps, were more enemies are on screen, but so far I think it has been a locked 60. I'd assume that in this mode the CPU has less things to do, so it has enough cycles to process the frames for a 60 fps target.
Not sure if this also happens on base Xbox One or PS4.
Can’t believe this series is still not 60 fps and enhanced. For free by the way. We’ve all bought these games multiple times and still not good enough
I bought this and Arkham knight on PS4 today for only 10 bucks, Great stuff I will play through all 3 of them again!
I have a ps5 and series x should I play it on ps5 or series x
Well I haven't played these games since the 360 and I just bought this for $5 so I'm happy.
I don't really care for the Xbox one x I care about PS4 pro
The FPS is still extremely un-smooth even on Xbox Series X. I doubt its even 30 Hz from the playing experience.
I care about HDR and 60hz
Arkham Asylum runs acceptably smooth on VRR TV. Actually, if you have 120Hz TV with VRR support, xbox can double the frame-rate, wich gives you about 90fps. Still fluctuates around 88-91fps, but frames are synchronized and frame-time is perfectly stable.
Checked on series X. Feels almoust like natively 60fps game.
It looks like Arkham Knight is running 60fps on xbox series x
It's 4k/60 FPS now
Arkham city is 30 FPS Story and 60 FPS Riddlers revenge which is similar to Arkham Asylum’s Style of 45 FPS story but 60 FPS challenge mode
And you forgot to mention Arkham city in Riddler,s Revenge is 60 FPS
Bruh I play this on series s and it crashes every time I try to go to my destination
