One of the worst PSX games of all time, and furthermore, one of the worst DRIVING games of all time, on any console. The vehicles handle like trash cans being pushed by a strong wind, the graphics are way worse than other games from the same era, and the car combat is like a Beta version of Twisted Metal. This game is not worth your time. I should have just made a reaction video to the new Xbox 720 or whatever…Like a normal person. Ugh…

Update: The new Xbox is apparently called “Xbox One.” I wonder if Gotham City Racer Enhanced Edition will be the first title announced.

Taito REALLY should have developed this Batman game and have it be a variation of Chase H.Q., but with the Batmobile and the Batman villains to chase after.

Believe it or not, I don’t think I played this game in my childhood, otherwise I would have a lot of trouble playing this game. So I actually didn’t end up buying this game until several months ago. Somehow I was getting good at this game, and I did beat the Adventure mode a couple times.

I like this game so much back in the days of my childhood , i used to play a lot of duke nukem time to kill , small soldiers , 007 racing , alundra 2 and this game obviosly wasnt perfect but it have a lot of things like shoot your enemies , the music , a lot of levels and dont blame your bad way to drive with the game bro.

This game is so bad and dislike this game? Try Batman: Arkham Knight. It's the awesome game except the PC version which is bug disaster and dead. So you could drive the batmobile better than this game.

Hey, don't shit all over my childhood! I loved this game, especially the vs mode was pretty fun to play with friends and for it's time and especially for the crowd it was intended for, this game was pretty good. It may not keep up with todays standards, but for a 6 year old batman fanatic in 2001 this game was amazing.

"The vehicles handle like trash cans being pushed by strong winds!" :-D you are so hilarious! I love the way you describe things and your use of vocabulary, for both bad or good things. This game is HORRENDOUS. This game looks like a rip-off of the N64 game, "Rush," a racing car game. This game's too dark. How can anyone play this? The controls for the Batmobile in Arkham Knight are wayyyy better than this. This is just sad. This looks like some unfinished fan-made game that someone who was a fan of Batman tried to do, but couldn't finish it, so it came out this crappy like the way it is now and what you're reviewing is a good example. I'm repulsed by this game, too, Stanburman. Not worth the time nor money. Just by Arkham Knight, it's more better and challenging.
