Knights whacking helicopters out of the sky is a feature.
Perhaps the greatest of all games.

Just picked this up on Steam for $4.99!!! Grew up on Civ 2, didn’t really like Civ 3, but am gonna play Civ 4 for a couple months before I move on to Civ 5, & Civ 6… I like playing games about a decade after they come out! XD

Civilization is about exploring and civ 4 does that the best, the feeling of wandering around vast unexplored concepts and exploring other worlds across the ocean
Civ4 will always be the greatest Civ, and honestly one of the greatest games of all time. I didn't have Steam when I started playing in 2006, so idk exactly how many hours I put into it, but I'd estimate around 10,000 hours. When I was a kid I played it 20 hours a day for months at a time. I can't say that for any other game ever. Sure my options were limited back then, but I keep coming back to it
