To all those who think she isn't considered dark, which country you guys live in? I wish I was living in the same bubble as you guys are. Sadly In India, even dusky color, beautiful girl isn't considered pretty because she isn't fair. Forget about the color you are born with. Get tanned for a day and hear your uncles and aunties telling you how dark you have become. I wrote this #shortfilm I am a shade lighter than the girl we have casted in our short film. And I have heard hundred times how dark I am. Maybe because I come from North India, hence the expectation of fair skin is much higher; SADLY.
The motive of the film was to say, that dark is beautiful. whatever shade it might be. 🙏

I have been made fun of by many people because of my dark skin colour.....but my parents always encouraged me and gave me confidence...reminder to whosever reading this: Be yourself and the best will come to you:)

Same goes for facial features. I am a girl with medium sized eyes nd eyebrows nd creamy white skin tone. I find myself kinda good looking(not because of my skin tone) but, whenever ppl see me, they criticize my eyes nd eyebrows size nd shape. I have been told many times that "agar tumhari aankh tore se aur bari hote tu".."agar tumhare eyebrows tora sa aur long hota tu..." "ache dekhte hai serf apne skin tone ki khater apne facial features liye nhi." Maine ye criticism itne bar sone ho ki muje lagta hai agar may dunya ki har khone pe bhi jawoo, log pher bhi mere pe isa hi same comments karega. It just hurts too much!!
