Bethesda don't use unreal due to their modding community, who would not exist if it were made in UE as you can't mod without very many issues.

This should be indie section... love if they release on STEAM.... any games cheap, stupid, and dumb can make you millionaire. As long as it's not copyright infringement. but if you want to make more money you have to make more game.

you wish they would do this thing.... but for example bethesda games are open world, so the detail here is in a tiny room

you can't have a game where you're outside one bit, and then you go inside and suddenly it looks 3 x as detailed

people who think bethesda will adopt unreal engine should just reflect on their existence. People who think all bethesda games are made in one engine shouldn't ever make technical gamedev commentary.

Interesting how much emphasis is given on the look of a fan game rather than the actual gameplay. If you want something that looks amazing just go outside and experience real life. Gameplay is what makes a good game.

Impresive, BUT:
1. Photorealistic isnt necessary better than stylized
2. Better Graphics dosent mean a better Game
3. changing the Engine isnt like changing a Tshirt. thats why Studios might not swap Their own Engine for UE4
4. A lot of this might by rendered in real Time, but wont work for a whole Game in 60 or more FPS on Konsoles and non High end PCs.
5. CS:GO isnt made to look great, but to run in 144FPS and more
6. Yes, a lot can run on the switch, but there is a limit and optimisation is way more important than the Engine
