In this video. I shared the harsh reality of corporate job and 5 corporate red flags to consider while choosing your next corporate job. The harsh reality of tech jobs and the reality of IT jobs that I have talked about on this channel can help tech employees and IT employees in their careers while picking up their next corporate job. However, the reality of corporate job goes way beyond that. We also need to consider some company red flags before we choose to work for that company.

IT Employees and Tech employees face a lot of issues if they work for a company that has any of these 5 red flags. Because of that it is extremely important to consider that the dark reality of corporate jobs is brought out in front of these IT employees and tech employees before they join these toxic IT jobs or Tech Jobs. Knowing the reality of corporate Job helps you deal with and antifipate a lot of issues in advance. The harsh reality of corporate world needs to be understood in the context of how difficult it becomes for corporate employees to do these jobs once they join them.

If Corporate employees in general and Tech employees or IT employees in particular consider these 5 corporate red flags before joining a company then it would be very helpful them in avoiding the toxic work culture in these companies. Toxic work culture in Indian corporates has become very common and the only way corporate employees can safeguard themselves from such toxic corporate culture or toxic work culture is by being aware of the company red flags before even joining the company.

IT Jobs and Tech Jobs are already difficult enough but because of the toxic work culture these jobs become much more difficult to continue for corporate employees. If you are an IT employee or Tech employee looking for advice on career growth, lessons about the reality of the corporate world and reality of IT jobs, then do follow this channel. I make regular videos about the reality of IT, reality of corporate world, and company red flags to consider before taking any job. Hope you find this video valuable, see you in the next one.

How is the IDFC Bank to join on technical role.?

@suyashnachankar9342 June 2, 2024 - 3:02 am

1. Managers who accept more impractical work without considering limitations of tech team
2. Managers who consider team member as a mere "Resource" which can be used to put to work anytime (night shifts/weekends/overtimes)
3. No specific roadmap in your current role for your career to shape further

Just run away if the company advertises the job with details such as new ways of working, or diversity, etc. these are the most toxic companies to work for. Wolves hiding under guise of sheep and use their virtue signaling as a weapon to destroy their competitors

Hello sir, I got selected by a company and also agreed on the contract for 1 year, but they said that they would be providing the offer letter only after joining them and that too after 15 days of probation period. I resigned my last job but am not sure about joining this company w/o the offer letter. I'm confused about my next move.

Red flag -> When Manager agrees to everything client says especially their delivery date, without considering/discussing with the tech team!!

Lot of people are saying data science is already too crowded and companies have started paying less salary . It is overcrowded

@redguitarwarrior2179 June 2, 2024 - 3:02 am

Indian work culture is based on slave mindset……. We think that Client and our superiors as Gods

1. Completely avoid a tech company which doesn't use appropriate project life cycles and has no idea of the market requirements.
2. If your manager asks you to do sales work along with your tech work leave that company immediately.
3. Observe how your tech lead/project manager understands the project . If you're asking them genuine questions and they are not able to respond them correctly or are ignoring them , then start considering either to switch the project internally or start looking for possible alternative jobs

Pavan it's quite normal to have a second round of interview with the client, but salary re-negotiation sounds very fishy..

I joined capgemini at a very good pay. They rolled out the order post 2 rounds of client interviews.

After I joined the company, I got to know that the project I was hired for just got scrapped & client interviewed me again for another project which seems to be bad (Donkey labour sort of). I am able to crack the technical interview with client…now suddenly client want to have an another round of managerial interview…in which they rejected me for almost no reason.

I am on bench since 2 months…no project nothing. Even the RMG/HR doesn’t respond to my msgs/mails.

@bronwankhan3323 June 2, 2024 - 3:02 am

Majority of IT companies now days are expecting IT staff to multitask, so many task at once and they have tight time constraints with it, causing a feeling of being overwhelmed or being stress, if it gets to excessive
