Tech was the 2nd concert I ever went to (but I count it as the first because Travis Tritt would’ve never been my first choice). I’m in the KC area (JoCo at the time) and saw him at Sandstone but, having come here from Wichita, he was basically my intro to Kansas City. We somehow managed to get right up close to the stage and I’d never experienced anything like the intensity he and Krizz Kaliko brought. Caught him a few times in later years at The Granada too and those were even better than Sandstone. I absolutely love that I can sit here, 20 years later, with some Bou Lou in the beer fridge binging ‘Like I Ain’t’ on YT while my kids are asleep & pretending I’m actually doing grown-up shit. Never go away, Tech 🙏🏻
