Actor Daniel Kaluuya, star of the upcoming Jordan Peele movie Nope, is still planning on making a Barney movie, based on the PBS children’s show. The movie promises a fresh take on the purple dinosaur. Could Kaluuya convince Peele to direct?

At first I was horrified when I heard that there would be a new Barney movie, but after what I've read about it, maybe it will be better than the old crappy show. I've read that's it's apparently supposed to be a tragic horror movie. I don't know exactly how it's going to play out, but I hope they make Barney an evil psychopath as he is to many anti-Barney fans. They did something similar in The Banana Splits Movie, so maybe…
