FYI you can search yt for other versions of this movie where the audio (usually music/FX only) are missing here, but those versions use stock music that can be corny. Also, uploaders seem to re-edit this film, which is beyond my comprehension. If it's worth the effort to anyone, you can have two versions of this movie open in browser windows and when the audio cuts out here, try to find that scene in another version.

Plot
In ancient Egypt, Sinuhe (Edmund Purdom) is a would-be doctor who saves the life of a young man (Michael Wilding) suffering from a seizure. When the afflicted youth awakes, he introduces himself as the Pharaoh Akhnaton and makes Sinuhe the royal healer. While working at his new, prestigious post, Sinuhe suffers through a botched romance and the death of his adoptive parents. Despondent, he leaves the Pharaoh's court to bury his loved ones, and, in the process, incurs the wrath of Akhnaton.
Ah the white people play "Egyptians" movies…such classics need to be watched by modern humans.
Egypt is in Africa so why are the actors in the film white?
The sound keeps dropping out. Can you fix that please?

I've always liked this movie, but of the Hollywood Egypt movies I prefer Land of the Pharaohs – Howard Hawks, Jack Hawkins, even William Faulkner

The movie is wonderful, but the book is one of the best three books I have ever read .

I tried watching this movie, but the sound kept on cutting out. Too bad, I think I would have enjoyed it.
Is anyone else having problems with the audio??? The sound cuts out and then comes back, but the time in between, there's a lot of the movies being missed! I would love to see it with all the audio available.
