Suppressed Desert Tech MDRX In 300 Blackout

In this video I’m shooting the Desert Tech MDRX now chambered in 300 Blackout. I’m shooting it suppressed and with subsonic rounds to keep it as quiet as possible. Huge thanks to Infinity Targets for sponsoring today’s video. Check them out and use code “texasplinking” to save 15% here: https://infinitytargets.com

I also showcased my Agency Arms P320 S2 Syndicate and Sig Sauer P322 I got from MOD Guns. If you type something in regards to “Texas Plinking” and/or “TP322” in the order comments you’ll get a free 25rd mag with your order of a P322.

Thanks for watching!

Cant fucking wait for the mdrx 8.6blk out conversion kit
@crsquirrely73 May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
Ammo Inc ammo is garbage. Its never loaded to the same tolerance and they have shit rounds per box then anyone else

Subsonic rounds going supersonic in longer barrels is a very common problem, especially with bullpups since youre minimum barrel length is often too long to reliably shoot subsonic. You just gain to much extra velocity. The one kit desert tech should have come out with recently is the micron in 300 blackout.

308 makes more sense.

Subsonic would be the heavier bullets, especially the 208 grain, in Hornady Black anyway .

DO NOT BUY. I bought the 300blk fwd eject version. Out of the box it did not cycle/double feed. Desert tech initially promised a full refund if it was a manufacturer defect. It was later found by Desert tech to be a manufacturer defect. After 2 months of waiting to get my $2700 refunded, the gun is then shipped back to me. I called and pleaded to let me return the gun and be refunded and was basically told to "F" off.

Thanks for the video! Is your Raptor safe in terms of ricochet when shooting steel? Would be a shame to have it hit 🤷‍♂️

Ammo inc 300blk subs don’t get very good reviews’ most people say they’re loud and unreliable. S&B 220g subs get good reviews and its what I run in my 300. They are super quiet’ Im running the Faxon 6” match 1-5 twist barrel thats made especially for subs but does shoot up to 125g very well. I bought a crap load of S&B subs from PA in very early 2020 before the scamdemic for 10.99 a box’I bought 1200 rounds and have a lot left since I can shoot supers too.

That infinity target looks awesome. Heals itself up to 150 rounds per square inch? That sounds great for most of us who like to take relatively decently paced shots. Might not be all that great over time for those of us who like to mag dump into trash. Looking at you, Brandon Herrera
@shockwave6213 May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
It might be subsonic with a 10 or 12 inch barrel, but might be just breaking the sound barrier with a full 16 inch barrel. This is why ammo manufacturers NEED to disclose test barrel lengths for their velocity claims on the box. I see it as false advertising any other way.
@CrazyLegz72 May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
I have yet to hear anyone say anything positive about "Ammo Inc" ammunition. Apparently it's garbage, or at least I won't be buying it.

ammo inc is trash, bottom of the barrel. if it shoots it shoots tho
@comiketiger May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
I just can't get too excited over any bull pups. I'm sorry. Dont hate them. I enjoy any firearm.
Great video and presentation.
God bless all here.

I don't even know what you were saying about the rifle.. I was too busy staring at that Truck. Pretty sick bro. Looking spicy
@James-cr5mc May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
Could the 16 inch barrel be keeping it from being really sub sonic/ or causing that super Sonic crack
@TuckerDale89 May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
You seem like the only guy who would do a comparison of the MDRX micron vs X95 SBR if you have them of course.
@ReubenOaks84 May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
Look into the Palmetto State Armory - AAC Ammo - I haven't used subs because I don't own a suppressor but all their 300blk, 5.56 and 9mm options have been great for me thus far and it's priced well. I've heard a few people complain about the reliability of Ammo Incorporated
@ruggedperformance May 24, 2024 - 2:21 am
Are those bullets tumbling? Looks like it is randomly making some big holes. 🤔 4:59
