Ppl don't understand the brilliance of making one of the step sisters empathetic towards Cinderella in Ever After. And not having a fairy godmother but people who really cared about her and characters we actually cared about. Like dude Mourice😢

The best Cinderella ever is Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973). You've obviously never seen a good movie, otherwise you wouldn't mention such rubbish.

8: A Cinderella Story 3 [Underrated; Good Songs, Lucy Hale is an icon] {8.2/10}
7: Rags [If Only it was made by Disney, people would have loved this movie much much more!] {8.2/10}
6: A Cinderella Story [Sweet, Light & Jennifer Coolidge, need I say more] {8.4/10}
5: Cinderella (2015) [Probably the best costumes and sets, good that the cat and mouse stuff was removed] {8.7/10}
4: Roger & Hammerstein's Cinderella (1997) [Beautiful Movie! Severely Unpopular!] {8.810}
3: Cinderella III: A Twist In Time [It takes the concept of Cinderella and improves upon every aspect! Especially Cinderella's character] {9.5/10}
2: Another Cinderella Story [Great dance, Great songs, Selena & Drew have great chemistry and the acting was great too, Jane Lynch deserved an Oscar for this movie!] {9.8/10}
1: Ever After [Danielle is ICONIC! The most grounded representation of Cinderella, Drew Barrymore nailed the role!] {10/10}
My LEAST favorites are:
5: Cinderella (1950) [People keep calling it a classic, but the movie was about Lucifer and the mice more than Cinderella herself!] {5.8/10}
4: A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish [A Cinderella movie, set around Christmas sounds already convoluted. Also, the Prince can't recognize the Cinderella in this movie with her wig....so, he's not gonna recognize her without it because like she's literally the same] {5.5/10}
2: A Cinderella Story: Starstruck [It's literally the same movie as "A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits" but worse...] {5/10}
1: Cinderella II: Dreams Come True [Cinderella from wish] {4.8/10}

Y'all are sleeping on the best version called Tři oříšky pro Popelku (1973) which was made in former Czechoslovakia, with a co-production of East Germany. It's thousand times better than any other version for me (not a biased opinion just because it was made in my country i promise lol) and it's a classic during Christmas in many european countries. It's such a shame how underrated and unknown it is for people from other countries. You can find it online with english subtitles i think, i definitely recommend everyone to see this version. Even if you don't understand what they're saying, it's a must watch just because of the visuals and great acting

On my opinion the 2015 disney version of cinderella was a masterpiece the movie was nice and it will always be my favourite cinderella movie 🥰🥰

My top 3:

1) Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973)
This Czech fairy tale is the greatest adaptation of the story ever. And by far. The beautiful setting, music, costumes, witty dialogues and charming playfulness of Cinderella and her prince only add to the fairy tale magic.

2) Ever After
The costumes and setting are breathtakingly beautiful. The story is amazingly well written and works wonders with the historical references.

3) Cinderella (2015)
This Disney live adaptation elevated the popular Disney animated version significantly by evolving the story and giving the characters actual personalities.

In the film Three Nuts for Cinderella 1973 CSSR-NDR, the audience is divided into two groups. The first group knows that it is the best version of Cinderella and the second group has not seen the movie.

Cinderella 2015 is my favorite real life movie and Cinderella 1950 is little bit different than real life movie and thx to Kenneth Branagh who directed in Cinderella 2015

My personal favourite is still 2015’s Cinderella. I even it prefer over the original animated Disney movie. (And I’m sorry Ever After fans, but I love it more than Ever After)

The chemistry Lily James and Richard Madden had was great, Cate Blanchett killed it as the stepmother, the COSTUMES and more!

Ever After, 1998, is from a higher league (in comparison with the rest ones mentioned here). It gave the Cinderella story some depth, and the quality of the cinematography and acting is superb. Maybe one of the best movies ever made in general.
And animated Cinderella, 1950 - is the charming classics which brings me back to childhood.
