Detroit Lions Just Got a Pleasant Surprise by signing a burner at the wide receiver position. Now if you believe assistant GM Ray Agnew he would say that the Lions are already stacked at the wide receiver position but I would say the back end could use a little work. It is possible that we just found another wide receiver that will make this roster?

We have one great WR, we have one good WR, and one that's an unproven could be. After we don't have much.

My sleeper pick is Isaiah Williams. At this moment, I'd rather them keep him on the active roster than Antoine Green. Green played 109 offensive snaps last year. He had a whopping one catch on two targets. I understand he wasn't drafted with high expectations. if he can't get more than two targets on 109 snaps, that tells me he wasn't improving much, if at all. He wasn't showing anything in practice to separate himself from other lower depth chart receivers. All of this is merely my opinion, and that doesn't mean I'm right. I just feel the Lions stole Isaiah Williams by getting him in free agency.

Guys, my whole thing about the contract isn't about if I think Goff is good enough to win with. It's about historical facts. Only 3 QB in the last 30+ years have won a Superbowl with a cap hit percentage of 13% or more. You win by building a team first. Only Steve Young and Mahomes the last 2 years have won SB's

6 wide receivers are needed on the roster one of which will be a special teams kick & punt returner . . . When you have an injury at wide receiver you can still run your 4 wide out without a tight end at the slot also somewhat ensuring that you have a quality backup for slot and 4 wideout sets

I think the Michigan Panthers were 4 and 2...they might be 5 and 2 right now. Pretty fun to watch...which is nice with no other football on. You can only re-watch Lions games on DVR so much...

I’m over here on the Huron side. I like to visit spring lake area and the fisherman’s pier on the big lake. There’s so many great places to eat at gr haven. I don’t know how you can decide. I usually head to da UP for vacation. Gotta go and get a pasty or two!

Kaden Davis? Don't we have enough shorter receivers? I'd like to see a big guy, though I realize big receivers are a hot commodity. I think the receiver room is adequate enough to get a better edge opposite Aiden.

I see williams getting a 1000 yards this season. He has the speed, and he does have the hands. My hope is that Goff can start putting the ball where it has to be. Now I'm not saying he hasn't but alot of times we see our WR having to turn around to catch the ball, what good is it for the WR to burn the Defender if he has to turn around to catch the ball??? It's just creating a chance for the Defender to knock the ball away or a tackle. Williams is a good if ya want to dwell on some dropped passes well consider that over half of those drops he had to spin back around because the ball is behind him, and yes he is running his route that was not the problem the throw was the issue

We have too many "ifs" for me to be stacked...Antoine green, peoples Jones are question marks as far as stepping up...I personally would like another vet presence

Favorite Michigan getaways....1.Copper Harbor in the keewanaw peninsula....2. The Porcupine Mountains and all around that area. Also by black river and presque isle loop. You guys gotta check that area out!

Really like Isaiah Williams out of Illinois. The athletic stats might not jump out at you. But dude just gets open. Smart, knows where the weak points are on the field. The kind of guy Goff really knows how to make shine.

Fruitport also has some really nice spots during the summer. For vacation I enjoy my property on beaver island or going over to Alpena in the North East LP. That area has some beautiful scenery.

Need a true burner #1, Jamo can be that but then we need a #2 and maybe Green can be the #2. So hard to know with the year 2 later draft picks from 2023.

The wide receiver room is our only real glaring weakness at the moment. Sure, we have one of the best wide receivers in the NFL with Amon Ra, but beyond him we have a guy that needs to break out this year or he's going to be a bust and then some dudes.

It’s definitely a strength of the team. Idky people act like it isn’t a strong room. Idk about stacked but there’s only one ball to throw and we have receiving backs and good tight ends

I would love to see Antoine Green fill Reynolds' shoes. I've been seeing these signings and just waiting to see the next guy who's going to fill that role. Would love to see him do it. Also, I definitely like the IDEA of Kaden Davis. Really, and I doubt this is what was meant by saying that our WR room is stacked, but I do like seeing that we'll have a nice competitive WR room

Everyone quotes last years stats , St Brown could get hurt , bad luck . There lotsa film on what the lions do . Now teams can plan for what we do . The future is not told .

I am of the thinking that we are stacked as the TE is stacked, RB is stacked (both can receive), WR by way of TE and RB makes us Stacked! If the defense tries to cover the TE & RBs they will leave someone uncovered! Defense needs to cover Gibbs, Montgomery, LaPorta, St Brown as any one of them can burn them bad! So that leaves Jamo and Peoples-Jones with one on one! We know Jamo is fast but here is the deal this off season will be the first time Jamo gets to practice with Goff and that could develop into a bond where Goff can trust Jamo to be where he needs to be to complete catches. Once that happens defenses will now have to cover him better possibly leaving open Peoples-Jones or even Wright or Vaki. One thing that needs to happen this year is a bond between Goff and Jamo, once that happens then magic will happen. By the way our offense has not had issues of late it just needs to become smooth in any situation. I can say this now more than ever! I have faith in our offense and the coaching play calling of Ben Johnson.

Our WR room is stacked. Wamo is one of the most dangerous players in the NFL. DPJ is better than Reynolds. Green has potential. And Raymond is adequate.
