Everytime I hear this song I think of Zendaya’s face.. as she, Paul, and princess Irulan are left standing in a room full of people kneeling.. worshipping their newly appointed leader. As they look to Paul for guidance, she looks at Paul first with hurt… so much pain, and then with scorn and regret. Her emotions convey how much of herself she sacrificed for their love to survive.

A lot of people quoting the moments from the finale. However, the entire finale belongs Chani and rest is just procession as they part ways, these notes hit. Very well done ending and teasing out of the emotion of their story.

If Zimmer didn’t do this electronically, the wind instrument sounds like an oud, first introduced to the wider world by Peter Gabriel in the soundtrack for The Last Temptation of Christ.
