The official playmat for this game is pricey (around 30 dollars) but it looks amazing.
I got this two days ago and I absolutely love it. I can't imagine playing Splendor again and I love Splendor but this game starts out in 6th gear and doesn't slow down. Everything about this game is top notch. 9/10.
I'm worried if I purchase this game, then my Splendor game (already own it) will start collecting dust.
I've played this before in German. Is this based off that game?

I'm amazed you managed to fill a 9min vid on this very easy to grasp and quick to play game :D. It replaced Splendor for me, too bad it won't fit sleeved games so the insert will need to get tossed.

Splendor is one of the first games I got into when I started board gaming. I taught many a fledgling gamer the joy of modern board games with it. I'm excited about this one but, like Ethnos, I wish they could have found a better theme. Great review.
