In Sonic1 whenever you 'soft reset' via cheats
(having level select enabled allows you to go back to the title screen by pausing and then pressing A)
or by getting a game over, after having gotten some emerald(s)

the game doesn't reset your emerald counter.

it's still counting the bonus stage from level green hill 1 as being already completed
You already have that first emerald, so no bonus ring/coin appears at the end of act 1 when you played it a second time

Yes most of us is probably still watching thomas but its mostly the classics seasons one though six because those are the mostly entertaining plus everyone is in character but there was some modern thomas episode that were entertaining and similar to the classic all thanks to Andrew brenner who actually wrote some of the episodes from the classics seasons one of them is henry's forest i believe
