The Saturday of the Miami Grand Prix turned out to be complete chaos and has resulted in a fight between multiple drivers and the FIA after some questionable decisions during the sprint race.
This started with Fernando Alonso stating that he feels that the Miami Grand Prix weekend shows how “nationality matters” in F1 investigation outcomes, and he intends to address his concerns with FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem. But this wasn’t the only questionable decision during this weekend, and an important note, Lewis Hamilton was involved in almost all of them.

To me, Mag and Ham were racing. It is a sprint race. If it was a lower team to get points you would race. Also it was a street race where there were walls with no DNFs to me that it was racing. You could have a sprint race following each other to the end with no racing which is boring… Or you could have racing with some contact and minor damage to no damage with excitement. It was fantastic sprint
They won't penalize their golden boy….we all know F1 is a hack sports group
Camp Alonso. There are to many penalties for minor infringements of the regs. They are racing Drivers. Let them Race. Hamilton himself said he had no problem with KMag's driving and enjoyed the battle. Russ. UK.
"If you no longer go for the gap, you are no longer a race…" Ayrton Senna.
NFor me the all thing is Stroll fault. He's the one who turned against Fernando, sandwiching him at the Apex. And why did Alonso defended so strongly against his teammate at turn one of lap one, leaving the apex unprotected, is another question I'd like to ask him. And I don't understand how he can say that Lewis wasn't in control of his car. Lewis front axel was at the same level as Ferando front axel way before the apex, and he didn't lock or lost grip at the apex. that was his corner, he was going to make that pass. And I don't think there would have been contact if Lance hadn't runed on Fernando, pushing him against Lewis. If anything it is Lance's fault, but Ferando can't say that, so he's going to blame Lewis.
This has been going on for decades, how was Alonso treated by McClaren and Ron Dennis?
Disgusting.
Gotta love Hamilton's comment- its just good hard racing!
I thought F1 was about racing car's?.
Errr, Stroll ran into Riccardo under yellow flags. Deserved any penalty he got.
King Lewis gets away with all sorts of things without penalty. And whines like a girl when he does get a penalty.
Hamilton gets away with too much
Alonso got 3 penalty points for a slight tap with Sainz during hard racing.
Kmag got 2 points for taking Sargent out of the race.
And sainz got 1 point for losing it while fighting Piastri.
There is no sane rational.
Alonso speaks his mind and it has always cost him dearly look into his Honda / Indy engine crisis.
Where Hamilton plays the political game he is everything they want to represent them.
this is all irrelevant the blatant screw up to give Max his first championship makes all this small beans. since Charlie died F1 has gone to rat shit
F1 has become a joke…..
Lewis has wiped out many drivers with few penalties. His frontend tap to cars at the outside of a curve are famous
Get rid of the suits in the FIA and get in people who have either raced, have been a part of the circuit(team staff), or someone who has had direct involvement in the races. Not bankers and rich executives who never did anything or knew anything about F1 before they got put in their position.
seemed as though Alonso ans stroll already contacted before Hamilton came in.
All I hear is cry baby Euros, this is why we left. They who forget all the dirty stuff Micheal Schumacher did or Alonso did or Verstappen(jedda brake check, brazil with no penalties.
Daft just let them race for gods sake
Would financial penalties make more sence to drivers.
Soon enough overtaking will be considered dangereous driving and result in a race ban
Anyone who saw onboard can see Alonso was going to push Stroll into Norris even if Hamilton wasn’t racing. Typical Alonso to deflect responsibility to someone else then cry like a baby about discrimination.
Fia and racers have screwed themselves by bringing in too much legislation.. just get on and race and stop poncing about with your pissy whining…
1st penalty 5 sec time added, no need to stop, 2nd 10sec time added, no need to stop, 3rd 10sec stop and go within three laps, 4th immediate disqualification. First two may be skipped if the fault is bad enough and whose fault it is is clear. If any of these penalties do not get served it increases to next level automatically + original still stays (so 5 second at pit stop increases to 15 second at pit stop).
Alonso trying to deflect his poor driving is pathetic. He causes crashes and never takes any blame. Perhaps he is still whinning about the F2 engine that is now the fastest on the track.
F1 😮😮
Well that'is unusual…Alonso complaining and blaming, and using politics and whining post race, to advance his position. Too bad he took his teammate out. His team could of changed his pit strategy after ordering his teammate to crash again.
Why the FiA stewards are mostly british? when the F1 participants are all from different parts of the World? The FIA are behaving like if they were the late Murray Walker family.. Don't forget that this racing commentator used to demonise Alonso , and any non british pilots , (of course he had to eat his words latter on )
Magnussen is 100% correct. Team driving is how the sport should be.
1st corner incident? 1st corner incident. Alonso went " " Horner with his comments.
FIA cannot punish Hamilton as then they would be racist.
So, the game is rigged as it has always been.
Alonso was wrongly not given a penalty, he crashed into Stroll, before Lewis got involved in that crash.
The stewards need to butt out of INTERFERENCE. The fans WANT to see incidents like these
Hamilton is a protected game. Everyone from the Sky commentators to the stewards fine excuses for him
Letting K-Mag get away with just time penalties encourages the spread of similar tactics. He should have got a point on his licence. At the same time, the stewards have too much authority and the only recourse is an expensive visit to the International Court of Appeals. Perhaps there should be a tribunal made up of former GP drivers who would hand down decisions in real time.
That's why I don't watch this circus anymore, boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FIA Rule 44. When Sir is infront DO NOT overtake, When Sir is behind let Sir pass.
I love watching that race with Magnuson made Hamilton. His bitch took a bunch of penalties, but it was well worth watching.
They’ll never touch F1‘s little black token boy
He most certainly has a point! LH can do no wrong!
They want to push Alonso out. He keeps getting penalized for all sorts of things.
Let me get this straight. If you come into turn one, completely out of control, and collide with other cars, it is ok if you are knee grow. Then later in the race, you get touched, you whine i got hit, in a way less aggressive manner, you are correct in your assumption that this is horrible and everybody should be penalized. Phaqu you.
Alonso almost killed a driver…. And you compare it with a collision with 3 cars.
Ben Salami has an aura of corruption.
That FIA puppet has to go
