@abneldones184 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Which buttons should I use to shoot l1 r1 or the triggrers ?

@salttrader4113 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Agree 100%, I bought this gamepad for travel thinking it was as good as their fightstick.

This thing is unplayable; I keep hitting buttons I don't want to activate.

Definitely very underwhelming, the software is terrible, had to uninstall all drivers and disable the xbox drivers to get to work and even then it hangs at updating the umdingle…

@abstraction6212 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Well an Xbox version of victrix bfg comes out in several hours.

Also I feel like this controllers fighter pad would work well for Mugen and super smash flash crusade.

@acfzzzzz May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Can the d-pad module be placed where the face buttons are?

This controller is so frustrating. It’s like they thought of everything you could possibly want (besides 8 way dpad with clicky switches), implemented it but then executed everything slightly wrong.

I bought this but I ended up selling it bc I hate playing on it. It’s too light, the triggers/bumpers are some of the worst I ever used in terms of accidental inputs & general feeling, the fightpad placement sucks, and I cannot forgive the placement of the bottom 2 paddle buttons. It’s impossible to map them & hold the controller with any kind of natural grip and not hit them.

If they had better triggers/bumpers, better fightpad button placement, and better placement on the paddles this would basically be perfect and maybe strictly better than literally everything else on the market (besides maybe the scuf envision but that’s PC only). But instead for me it’s an irritating controller to play on

@kenrn3778 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Can you map the 4 extra back buttons and the fight pad R1/R2 to multiple button press combinations for Tekken? Like 1+2+3 etc

@deavinmichael4072 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Lol, it takes two seconds to undo and redo the screws. The author is absolutely ridiculous.

@okabe1897 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

When he’s not hunting Bugs Bunny he is reviewing controllers.

@TheProfessionalPR20 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Good review. And people who have big fingers need a bigger dpad. 😡

@purelaffs May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

I just received my pad today. My excitement was immediately turned into utter disappointment. I bought it solely for SF6. The placement of the 6 button module is way off. My natural sitting position of my right thumb sits over R1 and R2. Also, i cannot find a way to map the 2 right shoulder buttons to PPP and KKK. Victrix didn't really think this through whatsoever. a massive thumbs down for me.

If you're a massive Street Fighter fanatic,don't buy this!!! I'm going to go for the Hori fight commander. I'll just have to put up with the wire cable.!!!!

This review is 100% correct…

@karloli9455 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Wish they had an 8 button one.

@morromk7538 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

I play mortal kombat x, 11 and mk1 now do you think this controller is legit for those games?

@hurtbox_od May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Love this honest review. YouTube is full of bots just non-stop praising this thing, likely because they got it for free.

@AndroSpud May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Hey FC, quick question, do you have the ability to swap the buttons to the left side of the control and the D pad to the right of the control? I have a friend who only has use of his left hand, it would be so cool if he could have the buttons on the left.

@mariowayner2965 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

And if they put the keys in the other way around and remap the keys

@EGreddragon07 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

You mentioned better options for pc? What are they?

@phantomelectron May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Its feels cheap and light because there are not any vibration moudles in it because pros often turn that off

@Squig911 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Mine drops the qc input to the left also.

@Bruno-Ali May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

2:17 Can you map the dpad to the extra R1 & R2 Buttons? So I could use R1/R2 as Up/Right??

@Swingpassfromthecorner May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Nice review, do you feel as though the diamond shaped dpad of the BFG is the similar/the same as the Victrix Gambit dpad.

Cause i want give this dpad a try but the Gambit is significantly cheaper than the BFG, so if the dpad is the same i'd rather get the Gambit as I play on PC anyway.

@pedrocalado7053 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Do you recommend any other pads for fighting games on ps5? D-pad being the main comparison point.

@joytek8560 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Your review are always on point. Awesome work.

@Dr.Ruffles May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

5:50 "R2 doesn't work on ps5" showcasing DoA
(DoA is not a 6 button layout game. It doesn't work because DoA doesn't use R2…..)

@NoxLegend1 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Also, if you switch the analog position to the ps5 style, you will always hit your thumb on the analog at the bottom because its so close so you are kind of forced to use it xbox style if you want to use the dpad. The three dpads are cool but honestly I ended up just using the regular cross. It’s hard to go from an xbox elite controller to this in terms of quality and feel at almost the same price.

@NoxLegend1 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

I have just spent two weeks testing this. I just got a series x controller and I have to say… wow. I was going to keep the vitrix but the series x dpad is just better. The vitrix has some nice features but I personally don’t need that for a fighting game and I don’t use the analogs.

@jinhanja8185 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

What would make this controller better is better wireless performance (because sometimes the spikes are so bad, your controller feels completely unresponsive between inputs. That usb dongle is ass. i wish they just used one of the newer bluetooth standards…jeez), better polling rate, lower input delay, better software, and just the positioning of the fight pad buttons. that's all really holding it back from being a god-tier controller for fighting games. That square dpad, and the octagonal mod for the stick, absolutely god-tier parts about this controller. The fight pad is lacking because of those button positions and the fact that you can't remap the R1 and R2 buttons on the fight pad to a different button on the module. The size of the controller is really nice, but the sensitivity of the paddle buttons are kinda ridiculous.

@mp211204 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

This is straight garbage compared to dual sense edge

@TonyDrecaps May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Good review.
What pc fight pads would be better than this? Could it work on ps5?
I figured the input delay would be lower.

@chrischand5082 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Which pad do you personally use for Mortal Kombat 11

@kriscotd76 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

The buttons placement is a big deal for me ,others then the triggers being super sensitive..But why the hell is the fight pad buttons x and square so damn low ? ..No way did someone who’s actually a fighting game player design this controller..Complete disappointment.

@Supersmallpig May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Thank you for the sharing I am going to no choice to try it since Hori their new fighting commander sucks 😂

@SirrafuS May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

Hey man, nice review! What gamepad would you suggest as the absolute best for mortal kombat 11?

@franbritorm9063 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm

NO

@edintrigueros1831 May 7, 2024 - 2:55 pm
