Ballard had similar comments defending Striud last year. It isn't the anonymous sources as much as people using anonymous sources to tear kids down with reports of poor interviews, bad attitudes and poor intellectual testing.

Of course the gm that picks him is going to defend his player. Save this one. There is a reason for the reports. They don’t just make this stuff up. It was someone’s experience with that player period.

Judging from Ballard’s statement, I think the report was probably 100% spot-on and, if that’s true, I think the media had a responsibility to the NFL and ALL of the teams who might have selected him to report it.

The “kid” is 22 years old, not 2! If he’s acting like a spoiled brat and expects to be paid MILLIONS of dollars a year to play a game, he needs to assume the responsibility that comes with it.

I, for one, am sick of the entitled attitudes of a lot of these professional athletes. The world does not owe them anything.
