The new Xbox One S is here and, yes, it’s a lot more slim than the previous Xbox One. But that’s not the whole story, there are some other neat features of this facelifted Xbox One that make it an even more tempting proposition. Subscribe for more! http://tinyurl.com/SubToOxbox

Perhaps the biggest surprise is that this is genuinely a more powerful console. We weren’t expecting any performance gains in our existing, non-HDR Xbox One games, but it turns out games like Project CARS actually run more smoothly on the new machine.
Not quite the pointless stop gap before Project Scorpio we worried it might be? It sort of depends how able you are to buy one and still save up substantial amounts of money for Scorpio’s arrival in late 2017.

(CON'S)
(Most important)
1. Poor Disk Drive Quality.
This is a very common problem with the Xbox One Slim that the disk drice had a very small shelf life to put it lightly.
Even if your "Thee" most careful person in the world with your disk drive, there is a very high chance your disk drive will break from usage making it nearly impossible to use your games and movies on the xbox one slim.
2. I can't say for certain as i haven't cleaned mine yet after 6 years of not cleaning the vents but from what i can guess it can be a pain to clean physically, (And no i dont trust cans of air for most consoles for the risk of it just blowing the air deeper into hard to reach places, and condensation from liquid forming from the cans of air could damage components, so i don't trust them much.
(PRO's)
It can take a beating, (Not literally! Put the baseball bat down! 😂)
I've dropped my Slim a couple of times on accident over the years and it worked perfectly fine without any issues.
It can also survive a long long time without a proper cleaning as it has 4 (Possibly 5) Vent Covers for the internal Fan, so that it doesn't overheat, but the top vent is the most important as that is where the heat goes when using the console.
2. Because the slim has 2 different Disk drives 1 for DVD and one for Blue rays, your not entirely screwed if you broke one of your disk drives.
Keep in mind if you lose the Blue ray disk drive then you can no longer play physical games on the slim as all xbox one games are blue ray only.
But that also means you can still use it for physical movies, if any if you still use dvds that is.
(Conclusion)
Just keep this all in mind if you plan on buying a Xbox One slim, but personally i would just say save your money for a series S or Series X if your going to buy a new xbox as of right now and in the future.
