The visual design of this game is just ridiculously good. This should have been what the SWITCH UI should have been!

I'd say it's a great game for a fun time with friends but none of the games go very deep. If you want this game for one specific title, e.g chess, then it might be too superficial for your liking.
Another great aspect is the game offers tutorials, playing this game will teach you how to play each and everyone of these games.

This is a great game, but definitely one to download rather than buy the physical copy. I made the mistake of doing the latter because I live in China where its hard to use the online store (VERY slow downloads), so I cant just turn on my switch and quickly jump into one of these minigames like I would like, or start one if say I am frustrated playing a different game and want to switch to this.

I recall when this released. It was a very slow drip of games coming out, so they advertised the ever living frak out of it like it was some kinda amazing, revolutionary game.

I just bought it new off eBay for $10.

Sooo.. yeah, ok they took the game i liked to play back when it was on the DS. Gin Gin rummy😡, i assume becuase the difficulty? lol idk. I even liked Blackjack,.. which doesnt look like its there anymore either..

I did play 'Ludo' a lot tho, Outside Europe, this is called ' Sorry' Well, atleast In Canada its known as that.

2:38 Jesus Christ! The English voice acting is horrendous! Urghh.
Until now, I only saw the skits in French and thought they were cute. In English they're total cringe! The voice of the red dressed girl is grating like nails on a blackboard.
[Minutes later after watching more examples from another video.] What the actual f...? The dialogue is different. They removed jokes. How could they mess up so bad?!

For those who may be curious, Hex, which is not mentioned here, is 11x11 only, and there is no way to swap sides after the first move. But maybe more people will eventually play it just because it's included.

I definitely like this review. Very clear and concise. As much as this game would be appealing for me, I have some problems with it myself. There is the multiplayer limitations like you said earlier. Also, for a game about classic games, a lot of the classics are just straight up missing. Like bingo, crokinole, scrabble, rps, spades, go fish, battleship, etc. Even the games that are here I have some problems with. Why is toy football this not fun mess instead of foosball? Why is slot cars not available online? Why are there only 3 tracks? Why can't we make our own tracks? Why aren't there different vehicle options? Why is it limited to two players? Why is gomoku in the game but the original go isn't? Who in the hell came up with the rules for war? What's up with the betting system in blackjack and poker? Things like that. Other than that though, this game is very well constructed and well executed for the most part. These are just a few gripes that a few other people and I have that we hope nintendo will fix in the future

the mancala i used to play have a rule that you have to pick up the pieces you land on and continue except if its on the enemy's side, idk if it was an uncommon rule but man i really want an option to turn that rule on
