@jeffhampton2767 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

All these movies are terrible except for maybe the Martian and the arrival otherwise the 1970s and 1980s had far better science fiction movies😮

@Stefan_Silviu April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

Can you imagine a top20 list of SF movies and NOT include Alien?

@thegamerforge3544 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

Why no animation?

@ewed418 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

No doubt, Tom can kill it every time.
Also I have a small request, someone please stop the "planet of the apes" franchise. I beg you. 😀

Fury road is still to this day the most overrated (to me) big hitter award winning movie in the last 20 years….

@tomrunner3908 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

This should be the worst movies

@GabySolantolo-iz6jc April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

I don't agree with the order and number one was lame . Moon needs to be in the top 10 or better . Same with looper and minority report. What about interstellar? Can't believe it didn't make top 20 .

@tatsumigakill7347 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

I think we all know what its going to be

@user-xj5xp6qz5g April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

lol force awakens… ok blocking your channel

@aleksejaleksej2743 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

For me it's blade runner 2049, mad max fury road, arrival, gravity, interstellar, inception, minority report, wall-e, dune part 1 and part 2, avatar, avatar way of the water, these are the best sci-fi movies of the 21st century in my opinion

@bailahie4235 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

For me it was a surprise to see Tom Cruise's edge of tomorrow in your list. It was great fun and very joyful, but further a flat and unoriginal story. I truly enjoyed it. But it was essentially an SF remake of groundhog day version 10 – and not the first SF remake of that story. I wouldn't have put it in this list.

@bailahie4235 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions (2003) are missing. Interstellar, too. The Matrix trilogy is for me among the best SF in cinema history, in particular due to its high artistic value (the shots and atmosphere is absolutely breath-taking – for me among the best ever), and the ultra-sophisticated story line. They keep the quality up during 3 movies, telling a coherent story, which even deepens more in the last 2. It is amazing. It has so many layers of depth, that it takes thorough and advanced analysis to reveal them. It is full of hidden mystic/philosophical symbolism and depth.I think many people who see it as a "block buster" are missing so much, and are not even aware of it. It is like Bach's music – a contrapunt with 6 intricate melody lines. If you are not aware you only hear one of them, perhaps 2, unaware of the other lines. With respect to acting I personally think it was Morpheus (Laurence Fishburn) who was the most impressive and charismatic actor (not Neo). Recently I saw an analysis of the trilogy, and it revealed even more layers that I wasn't aware of, in spite of my quite extensive exposure to Western and Eastern philosophy.

@atom2493 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

Garbage list🤮

@atom2493 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

The force awakens is here but not Interstellar? You might wanna lay off those drugs

@kierenmoore3236 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

Interstellar is overrated. It’s just that it didn’t make the cut.

@plazfram8641 April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

2049 is brilliant.

@user-mu7lg4rc2f April 23, 2024 - 5:41 am

I’m glad Edge of Tomorrow (just) made the list – Emily Blunt is always amazing and Cruise is less self aware than usual.
