10.I have to include my countrys recent war of independence about the thousands of mercenaries sent by British Putin. The Brit Wagner's sent to quieten a few hundred IRA soldiers found out that a country forced to live in harsh conditions by Brits turns every citizen into soldiers.....The wind that shakes the barley....starring cillian Murphy was low budget but still an excellent irish history lesson.
IRA films
Michael Collins Liam neeson
In the name of the father. .....I didn't like it but it's rated high
The devils own....meh
The documentary about.....the maze prison escape is brilliant. The film was a terrible waste of a story
50 dead men walking.......based on true story
The land of saints and sinners .....if you want to know what Irish countryside outside of Dublin is like it's so accurate. Kerry Condon is brilliant. Her cursing should have got an award. I live near her county and that's how people speak.

It's accurate, uses actual footage, and elaborates the conflict between the Military and Diplomatic efforts of Japan preceding Pearl Harbor.
My unpopular mention would be Jojo Rabbit, although it probably doesn’t fit this genre of action packed combat movies
