Met a nice guy in a parking lot about 40 miles from home.
Listed Price – $600
Price Paid – $460
Condition – 85% (not counted in the Average Guy Hi-Fi score)
The cabinets are in good shape, but not perfect. Some minor blemishes here and there but very presentable.
Lower rating because the Twos and the Sixes didn’t come with glass bases or wall brackets.
Quality – 9.0
I just love the aluminum cabinets across the Mythos line. They have a luxurious feel to them.
Sound – 7.5
If you’ve been following this channel, you know that I’m a Definitive fan. I love how easy they are to power and the crisp highs.
A subwoofer is a must! These speakers need a subwoofer to have any kind of measurable mid-bass and bass. That’s not a big negative as that’s how these speakers were designed.
MSRP Rating – 6.0
This is where this set suffers the most, when it comes to score. At a MSRP of $3,144, there were definitely better performers available.
Aesthetics – 9.0
These are flat out beautiful speakers, especially if you are a minimalist or if you have modern decor.
They would look at home in a living room or a bedroom, and not dominate the room.
Price Paid Value – 8.0
This was another killer deal but I had to detract due to the missing glass bases and wall brackets.
Otherwise, another great deal that will make the next owner very happy.

Final thoughts –
If you are building a dedicated home theater, these are not the speakers for you.
If you need need a discreet system, where you can’t pull off big boxes most speakers come in, these might just the ticket. Just leave some room in the budget for a pair of subwoofers, to carry the mid-bass and the low-end.
