Sony, one of the kings of technology and gaming. Today, Sony’s Playstation is a titan for console gaming and for good reason. From good hardware to amazing exclusives and more, Sony has shown they can roll with the best of them when it comes to gaming. We remember playing hit games like Final Fantasy 7 and Crash Bandicoot, and none of that would be possible without Playstation. Of course, the path to success is never a straight line, and Playstation is no exception.

While we could make a whole video praising Sony for their marvel of technology, it would be a disservice if we didn’t talk about Playstation’s failures. Let’s be honest, if the internet has taught us anything it’s that watching someone fail is 100 times more entertaining than watching someone succeed. For every great stride Playstation has taken, there is a glaring failure. Of course, we want to take the time to say we don’t hate Sony for these failures. The road to success is paved with failures. Time out. On the first one, the dualshock 3 had motion and vibration. No one had to wait for the ps4 for that.

By 2010, the motion control fad was over and Wiis were collecting dust in closets and pawn shops. Yet Sony was acting like it was still 2006-2007. It just shows how out of touch Sony was during the PS3 era.

Mannn $599 is not that high of a cost but its not cheap as well it might not be that resonable but it was still worth to people who can pay a bit more also given that PS3 came with ton of features including a bluray hd DVD player that costed more than a xbox 360.....at that time

I remember the psn hack I woke up that day and said let’s hop on to black ops and play some multiplayer and then bam psn is down but I didn’t know that so we reset our WiFi and did everything in the book we could do until I looked it up and saw it was havked

The only reason Sony put the og ps3 prices high was because they added backwards compatibility
So they removed it and reduced the price

The only actual fails mentioned in the video are the E3 2006 Conference, the Launch Price, which were both immediately forgotten about come the Holiday Season, and the Hack which got us free games and other features, better security and improvments, the big 3 "fails" turned around eventually, and the rest are not real fails at all, I even have several games that are designed to work so well with Sixaxis and they're an absolute blast to play, main example that comes to mind is Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic, maybe the Vita was a commercial fail but it was an amazing device with amazing games and capabilites, but that's about it, the video doesn't really look at the big image of how things work out eventually.
