It's always a problem with too much processing. The framerate goes out of wack!

Wdym xbox it's not even on xbox

@RazzaldG April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Crash physics are dreadful. Deformation looks good, but a head on collision rarely lifts one of the vehicles into the air like the physics here seems to do.

@MartinDlabaja April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Kinda sucks.

@qazpolthegreat April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Matrix physics will have imperfections. It is the matrix after all

@SuperMickyChow April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Very realistic way the BMW slides along on its side for ages after the crash 2:38 . See it all the time IRL. Top work.

@CertifiedWTRPerson April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

the damage looks a lot like Watch Dogs

@Grindelon April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Except for the physics themselves, the movements of the cars, going under four cars in a row, or sending them flying… the destruction itself is quite good. Visually, something like this in GTA 6 wouldn't be bad at all, with more polished driving mechanics and either more realistic physics (similar to GTA 4) or more arcade-style (like GTA 5).

@WalnutSpice April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

This looks terrible and the frame rate is actual assrate

@tanjimsalam6508 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

It's not realistic, the cars need more weight

@yo5535 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Trash

911 there is this crazy black lady moving 6 cars in to the air

@sickfuck April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Graphics are amazing but physics are trash and it ruins the immersion…

@nurztanbul April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Gta 4 definitive edition will be like this

@matthewdelaney5366 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

GTA VI will be like this.

@Zegeebwah April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

This demo is a perfect summary of this current console generation. Beautiful to look at but shallow & hollow.

@agent4poyato956 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Bro i hope gta 6 has these crash physics because gta 5 was boring for car chases and crashes man. Gta 4 was so much fun

@BisexualPlagueDoctor April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

These physics are on par with gta 5 and 4, this is just graphically better, honestly physics wise maybe a little worse

@BisexualPlagueDoctor April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Imagine showing this to the creators of the matrix as they were making it

@joinkusbelinkiusthethird April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

The other cars must be very light

@sesasVM April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

graphics is the only good thing in this game. nothing more at all

@DavyDave1313 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Looks very nice, but everything else is mid. I know its the matrix world, but pedestrians digitizing when hit or straight up disappearing from the car just lmao

@snavisTM April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

It looks like watch dog graphics and thats not a compliment.

@BladeValant546 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Why reinvent the wheel…….beamng already did this just adapt their engine.

@jp7rry April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

crown vic is a popular car in this world hmm

@weallfollowmanutd April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Looks like a toy crashing into more toys. Pretty piss poor

@demontongue9893 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

I can swear that physics engines in games have got worse as the graphics have got better, any kind of damage in games down to ragdolls blood and gore has been very watered down and if they try it, it looks very janky.
Some indie devs that have a very specific taste for physics in a game will go out there way tp pull it off but usually THAT'S all the game offers the rest isn't present, it's a strange time to be alive for gaming, everything's getting better but there's a lot of AAA companies too focused on aesthetics and afraid to do certain things leaving us all with very shallow games that given what budget they're working with shouldn't be that way.
Alan Wake II was a big step in the right direction but it didn't surprise me when I seen max Payne appearing in the game then I found out he had a hand in making the game and the devs clearly loved the Max Payne series, Control also had these homages in them, hopefully these kind OGgames are not just the very last echoes of the best of the oldskoolers saying byebye.

@Unnamed_30 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

I think this is gta 7

@huiAPPOAJ April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

@memeserjallyets7594 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

Beamng is better

@kennygaming208 April 15, 2024 - 1:04 am

The handling physics need work need to be more like BeamNG
