Why is it that in kids/Disney Hollywood “moving into an adult era”, always has to mean a drastic bad girl/boy transition. I don’t find being an “adult” synonymous with being a bad person at all… Particularly, one with over-sexualisation, drug usage, legal charges, alternative and extreme lifestyle choices and dress choices, i.e. when Miley Cyrus, Britney, Christina, Taylor, Justin Bieber etc. had their Disney/kids era to adult era transitions.
Why is THIS always what becoming an adult is meant to be in Hollywood?!

Yes, some adults may be like this or some may even dress/behave alternatively while still contributing to society in a meaningful manner but I feel the vast majority of the public would agree that the general concept of becoming an adult is not related to what Hollywood portrays.
