I got a crazy tech deck skate loop from 2003! This thing worked way better than I thought it would, and it was a ton of fun. What other weird things should I buy? Thanks for watching, subscribe for more videos and click the bell to never miss an upload!

It sparked an active global industry and even a small industry of sorts which evolved fingerboards way beyond techdeck, leaving it as the entry level/budget solution.
Nowadays fingerboards are wider than the original techdecks, made of 5-ply wood and equipped with bearing wheels on trucks made by another dedicated brand.
Such fingerboards are essencially perfect handmade miniatures which may cost anywhere between $25 and $150, so in order to hold up with these "professional" fingerboards Techdeck adapted - their plastic boards got wider as well and they introduced more expensive wooden lines themselves, but to this day the classic plastic techdeck is what usually gets people into fingerboarding.
