The problem with these past 2 Gears games is that they took so much of the grit and environmental damage out of the games. There's a great Crowbcat video titled "Gears 5 lacks weight and intensity" that highlights what I'm talking about. I also feel like they've run Gears through a Marvel filter with how the characters are constantly quipping. Gears 6 needs to bring the edge back.

I noticed that my xbox one x takes longer to load when I'm online. Even if I'm not playing online. I use my phone hotspot, so when I run out, I play offline😅, which speeds up loading time.

I used to love gears then gears 4 made me fall out of love with it im sat here at 4 am cant sleep downloading gear5 for series x so hopefully i enjoy it

I'am impressed what the developers but out of an old 1,3Tflops hardware, and all runs in real-time even on xone.! Great.!

Ha never did finish this game, was enjoying it but then my guy died cut scene, then had to play as a chic, and I never play as chics. Especially in gears games which is about playing as big chunky fellas. Ruined it for me.

How is it possible this game runs at 4K 120fps on Xbox Series X but every other game you have to compromise between 120fps or 4K? Can anyone explain? Will future games run at both 4K and 120fps same time or continue to choose between one or the other?

So I'm a bit confused. Been testing this out on the LG CX to see the dolby vision, and it's telling me I'm playing the campaign at 120fps now with Dolby Vision enabled when I test the framerate on the screen. Am I missing something? Is it actually playing at 60fps and my tv is just outputting 120hz?

Playing through on a series x now. Disappointing stutter in campaign can’t hold 60 fps. On an hdmi 2.0 tv and VRR doesn’t work at 4k60, it only works at 1440p120.

Playing gears 5 on my cx oled 55 ". Its perfect for the dark areas. The hdr is just beautiful. Best looking game of the xbox one generation. Looking even more amazing on the series x.

im not a huge fan of gears but god, this game is in some way a visual masterpiece, unreal TAA and naughty dogs similar implémentation are the best in the industrie so far.
