ancient Egyptians having women pee on barley seeds then observing the rate at which the seeds sprouted to determine pregnancy is so cool to me idk

Jesus she’s cute.
@JVanProduction April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
I love her personality and how passionate she is about chemistry and science. It's infectious! I wish I could be friends with her because I would love hearing all her explanations.
@eriks2962 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
Wow, she is an amazing science communicator! I'm kind of jealous...
@BoondockMercantile April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
I wish my chem teacher made it as interesting as Kate does, probably would've paid more attention.
@mrcharlyie5393 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
It is like if Barbie had a chemistry degree, love her
@r4nd0mguy99 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
The question about being able to pass through other objects could've explained better by just straight-up referencing the Rutherford-experiment. I guess she still gets the point across, but the way she does it is a VERY roundabout way.
@Chuncy566 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
Could you tell me what common household products we have around the house, that have the chemicals in them to brake down cellulose to where it's like mush.or easy to scrape off.please answer me online,as I am deaf, cant hear. Thank you
@yeetyeet7070 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
she explained lava lamps wrong.
@yeetyeet7070 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
Why would she go into adenosine instead of explaining that everything is a chemical
@buzbuz33-99 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
That was fun. My family had the good fortune to be asked to test the lava lamp before it was released to the general public. We just stared at it for hours. Also, never put a lava lamp on top of your TV - you will spend all your time watching the lava lamp instead of the TV.
@khanhnhutranle4457 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am

As someone who has taught chemistry, I’m very impressed by her explanations and even more enamoured by her passion for chemistry
@AlotlikeArham123 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
I wish the questions were more interesting
@DREAM_CATCHER- April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
You are so cute
@Lurkily_Esh April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am
These are not the same lava lamps of my childhood. These were just wax in some liquid that was right on the edge of wax's density, so that when it was molten, it rose, and when it began to cool, it sank. The light at the bottom heated and melted it.
@baileymadison9019 April 11, 2024 - 12:00 am

I've only taken a few courses but her explanation for why we can touch atoms if they are empty space is wrong.
