Yeah…they want us divided. Just like in the real world…they want the same in the gaming world. I personally bought the game and am enjoying it while ive never spent a penny (other than the base game). At the same time….I completely agree that the micro's are bull sht. Its just really hard when they pull this crap on a game that I REALLY wanted to play.
I think they're there to grab from the idiots willing to buy them… because we all know they exist. Gaming culture wasn't meant for everyone. I'm torn because I DO NOT like microtransactions, but I DO like the lemmings that infested my beloved culture getting milked for buying useless sh!t. I'll take what I can get. Just don't buy them. Problem solved.
Its not even a big deal at all. If you got the deluxe version it gives you everything but a port crystal and u can only buy 1 its funny people have a problem with it 😂😂
Bruh all those micro transactions you can buy with in game currency, go to the big rift crystal in vernworth and there is a shop that sells somthing thay lets you change your character. And you can buy port crystals at any apothecary. Reaching at straws bruh
I have been saying this for years. Not just the micro transaction but the changes in games because of it. I’ve watched games changed because of this and LIE. DCUO as soon as micro transactions was implemented back in the day you noticed things being loot locked, can’t be traded etc. Games now you notice instantly with the grind, can’t share or trade, pointless long distances and then you play a game that’s not and remember oh, I can’t share, oh this is nice. Micro transaction has given anxiety until you play a real game again 😅. (Games have been using us to test and help develop games and robbing us with rushed unfinished, micro transactions focused games) for a while now. Thank god for games like remnant trying to make us remember that good game developers still exist 🤷🏾♂️. Last one ☝🏾 and fun fact. Neverwinter before being released on console got edited and removed loot from quests so you could purchase it from store. It was so rushed and greedily done that the quest would still say your gonna get the back pack for loot space and not give it being another example of how micro transactions destroy games, something as simple as holding loot sometimes is games you ALREADY PAYED for cough Diablo cough
Thank you for this video. I could never imagine I would see the day when people would defend microtransactions in a 70$ game. I would really love to see a parallel universe where Dragon's Dogma had free fast travel at any time (like Skyrim, for example) and you could change the aspect of your character for free and no microtransactions. Then, after some time, they would release an update that would make the game like it is right now, limit fast travel and the aspect of your character and release the microtransactions. People would go crazy mad! Companies like Capcom are getting smarter and slowly they will add more microtransactions because players are dumb enough to believe that they don't have an effect on the game. To those players that are okay with microtransactions in this game and say it doesn't affect anything, in 10 years or something, when this get's really worse, you will deserve the shitty games we will have.
I find it hilarious on the google review page for dragons dogma 2 almost every positive review tells everyone else to ignore the negative reviews of the game. Suddenly free speech becomes a dirty word when people disagree.
It's had micro transactions since Dark Arisen. They planned this for 12 years. Bitterblack Isle was made purposely frustratingly designed and with cheap enemies (Hello living armor) to encourage you to buy stuff. And besides the enemy and level variety in DD2 is rather poor. I think ill be skipping it
Late to the party but like comment, etc etc for the alogorithm; do what I can for anyone advocating simple reason and common sense. As an addon to what Asmongold said here, think with your brains, people. Don't think with your feelings. Don't go on a crusade because some one or some game made you feel something. Lots of shti in life makes us feel all kinds of other shti. What do famous soldiers say? "Everyone is afraid. What matters is what you do with your fear." What do famous philosophers say time and time again throughout history? "People are what matters in life, everything else is a distraction." Get with it, people. Band together. Support one another. Think before you act. Think before you type out some vitriolic nonsense to damage or degrade someone else through the anonymity of the internet because they bought a game you don't support. Grow a bigger set of mountain oysters and then use them to do something worthwhile, FFS. /tedtalk
74 Hours in with minor performance issues, with the DLSS on. Never bought any micro's because you don't need to in any way, and had pleennttty of fast travel crystals left over. Should they be there? No. But at least they're not egregious, they could've been a lot worse.

If it unlocked something BANGING, it'd be a totally different conversation.

All the items that are for sell can easily be obtained in the game.

i can run helldivers and cyberpunk on max graphics but this game is somehow a stretch for my pc 😂
I have a 2080, and it works fine

DD2 is good game. Frame rate is the only problem I think. Except that, this is enjoyable for almost 100hrs and it will get even better soon.
Elden ring has only one save and nobody complains. IF you miss a quest, you Will have to restart or ng+.
MTX bad
Game good
Need patch for performances in cities
End of story
Asmongold for President. Kudos to you for not conceding to knee jerk reactions like a troglodyte.

Are the micro transactions not just rift crystals. Iv earned over 600 in less than 15 hours
