It plays discs. Its better.

Cartridges and Nintendo 64 is better than Xbox series S

Hi , am a fan from Egypt ! thanks for the video it was really helping but am confused here ...am using already one x considering my TV is NOT 4k , the question here , if i get a series s or even x , shall i feel any difference ? am talking here specifically about the graphics quality and textures

Long story short, the Xbox One X is just superior for gaming it is actually more powerful with this drive.

Yeah it’s the previous generation console. Previous generation consoles have always been a good cheap budget alternative and a lot of people actually stick with the previous generation console for a couple of years even after the new one has come out so it’s not even a question is the previous generation consul any good? Yeah of course, it’s good

People have been doing that for years, just sticking with the previous generation console until they can’t is really normal very very normal.

If someone has a Xbox one or s than the series s upgrade would be good but if someone has a one x than only the series x is worth it

Unfortunately I don't have an internet connection through an isp, just my phone so I'd have to tether/hotspot and use up all my data for a series s/x so it's not an option for me. Even the series X games more than often required a large download to work properly or even sometimes to just fully install from disc. I'd rather play my one X with 4k HDR and not have to worry so much about downloads. If MS made it possible to install games from USB onto the series s then I could go to a friend's house and download some onto an external drive I suppose. I can't pass a UK credit check as I am not a citizen and can't go on the electoral roll :(

If you decide to buy a xbox, go with series s, because it's a New console. But I don't think it's a good idea buy a series s to replace an one x.

The One X is Xbox One architecture for its chipset. Internally adding an SSD & giving the One X an update could actually have quick resume, and the new features.
However if they dont develop for it Xbox One games it wont get new games sadly.
The One X fell into a hard place. Really they should have just added the series S into the One X shells.

I can personally when I was an Xbox user and had the one X vs the series S. Cyberpunk as an example.
The Series S looked like crap. It would run around 780 vs 1440p and it looked so different on a 4K TV.
The Series S can handle some games better than others it rarely would hit the target of 2K.
It usually would be 60FPS & 1080. Then if you chose 120FPS the resolution would jump between 740-1080.
It felt like a downgrade honestly from the One X.
Especially how the One X handles lighting, 4K, and dynamic ranges of color.
The Series S would get to hot and shut down.

I cant speak for series X.

I just got a one x project Scorpio, and I am blown away. My ps4 pro looks cheap in comparison.

I have the one s and I regret it already because of the loading screens and the slow download speeds. I’ll just save up for a series s and get some unlimited gift cards for it.

I currently have a ps4 and the one x seems like the best option at the moment. Xbox cloud gaming means you can play all the new exclusives whilst with the backwards compatibility and disk drive not be locked into needing game pass or purchasing digital games
