Do the U.S Coast Guard fitness test
On Running, You have to do Sprints / Like in hundred yard Dashes… You Need to build up Speed & turn it into a 3 mile Pace..!!!
My Body is Jack Up Right Now… I can't do One pull-up but I'm working on the Run… I did the Run in 20 min & it was when I had a Swollen Uvula the Size of a Golf Ball… You Guys are in better Shape… But you have to Lay Off of the Booze, Beer & Bread before you PT … I would add Babes but it's your Game to Play but Grain will Affect your Lungs & Breathing… How to clean your Lungs..??? Cod liver oil & a Lot of Running.. Sure it will hurt until you Clean them out… You have 2.. So Be Good to them..!!!

Dude #2 failed the crunches because he was trying too hard. You gotta keep the arms folded against the chest and hit your mid thighs with the elbows. Dude was hitting his knees, which is a harder rep.
I'm turning 40 in 6mon and it is my goal to undo my flab and would be happy to look half as good as you guys by then…and it just makes me feel a little better, a little more like "you can DO this" seeing dudes/blokes who look as amazing as you two struggling–I feel less bad about also struggling. 😉
Royal Marines fitness test??
I use to do underhanded pullups as a marine. I always did well, but did way better when I switched to overhand grip.

Knew an Egyptian from New York ran the 3 mile in 15.36
The whole thing usually took like 45 to an hour then your ass was back in 45 washed dressed and are if you was quick
The second guy got screwed on crunched there's a chest way to it. We usually did our run directly after the crunches like 30 seconds later
I did 36 or 33 pull ups at 180lb run was always shit though. Was never as lean as you fellas though

What kicked my arse on the Required Fitness Level test on basic training in the NZ Army was that we did the run before the crunches. I did not expect the run to have messed up my abs. I passed the second RFL on Basic.
26 min? C'mon guys. I did my last PFT in 2004 @ 38 years old smoking a pack a day and got 24:25.
This strongly reminds me of my university days when I was just lifting and doing zero cardio (was 95kg of pure muscle).
It's just weird to me that one can be aesthetic AF and a beast in the gym, but basically so unfit when it comes to basic exercises like pushups, situps, chinups, and a simple 3 mile run. I now am a cardio athlete and do this stuff easily with good performance, but I look like shit, just much skinnier. It's annoying that to be endurant you basically have to look like a corpse/skeleton.

I recorded a perfect 300 pft score once in my 4 years in. I was extremely proud of that, it isn't easy at all. The 3 mile run I ended with 17:59, I crossed the finish line, walked 4 steps to my left where the grass was and proceeded to throw up for the next couple minutes, great times 😆

Yeah, you freaking bodybuilders suck at PT. Had a couple of dudes just like you 2 talking all kinds of shit in boot camp and failed the PFT. By the way you did the easy pull-ups try doing them over hand they are a lot tougher and you probably wouldn't do 10.

The steroids are also a factor . They would be tested in a real situation .
They should do it under realistic situation with a actual instructor breathing down their throats . VERY VERY UNREALISTIC
marines are not only physically strong, but also mentally stronger ! Your biulky body would actually work against you
This is so unrealistic ! These two would not survive a day in the marines . Too heavy and bulky . In endurance test they will fail

None of the second persons crunches should not count, his arms were off his chest. When we run it is a group start. helps to see some one to act as a target to match.
Normally we do our pull ups hands forward.
