Last two seasons of true blood were sadly the worst. Had they been better written. I think the show could’ve given the closure that the fans needed. If they were considering a reboot, I would try to cling more closely to the source material (the southern vampire mysteries). We need to remember that Eric was the sheriff for that particular region. It’s my understanding in the books Bill worked under Eric giving him the rank of detective, so Bill was a detective. I would push that they work that angle so that fans are getting the characters they love, but are also getting something different from the previous show.

As a Canadian who lived many formative years in New Zealand moving to the US at 16, developing more of an American accent She’s definitely picked up very odd British accent living in the UK. I couldn’t pin point where she was from if I ran into her on the street and heard her speak.
