I saw Poltergeist, Chucky and many more on this list when I was 7ish and I was traumatized, lol. I don't recommend these movies for young kids, * maybe * pre-teen 10-12ish, but not younger. You will suffer as a parent and your kiddo will have nightmares and you won't sleep for months like it happened to me,

I watched the sixth sense as a 12 year old kid. I did not found it scary but I was shocked because it was such a good film.

The sixth sense is rated 14+ on common sense media with bith parents and kids agreeing 12+ i think watch mojo needs to take precaution with its title "kid friendly" horror movies, i would definately not allow my 8yr old to watch half of these films, as a parent you got to use your own judgement and gage if your child is able to understand fiction or the the mature context of horror genres
