I'm going to get a VR setup one of these days.. but for PC use. I've mainly been waiting for VR technology to get to the point where the VR visuals are in a good place. The last one i tried was the HTC VIVE a few years back. It was awesome, really awesome! But the "Screen Door Effect", or SDE was quite present. Even with the higher resolution of the PlayStation VR2 (2000 x 2040 per eye) has SDE.. to a less extent at least. Still looks great.
I do need to check out the newer HTC VIVE Pro 2 which was substantially higher resolution at 2448 x 2448 per eye. HTC claims SDE is a 'thing of the past' with the VIVE Pro 2. Need to find a place that has a demo setup.
