A small, dark correction: Mickey Mouse wasn't reading spells at random in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." He was trying to make the broom sweep for him, so he could slack off. He had a goal in mind, but he dabbled in forces beyond his understanding. As humans in general do, looking for a quick, easy gain.

The best natural predator to introduce for mosquito control is dragonflies! Dragonfly larvae eat mosquito larvae and adult dragonfly eat adult mosquitoes!

The death of our crawlers and animals truly saddens me. I remember my childhood springs when the air was buzzing with May Beetles, as we call them. I loved them and still do but there are so few left. They have these tiny claws that pinch the skin just a little bit and I loved to hold them - like cats showing their love by digging their nails into you just a little bit. Now I'm lucky to find a few each spring. Such a shame what we've done to this beautiful planet.

I love how invested he is in explaining everything. You can really feel the passion he has

My favorite part is when the question is like “I’m sorry if this is a dumb question” and Dr Hanson doesn’t even flinch, just gives them a direct and passionate answer that’s both easy to understand and intelligent, and never once makes the person feel like their question didn’t have any value.

When I was a child here in Texas every year around the same time there was this mass migration of these weird butterflies that you’d inevitably drive through and i remember the year that stopped happening. I mean there were hundreds of thousands if not millions of them just coating your friggin vehicle. I haven’t seen that since. Gross and also sad.
@sofs2454 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
He strikes me as more of a Thoth, that wise of a man should've been named accordingly

Hi Thor. We were walking on Cape San Juan tonight February 10 and saw what we thought were stars shining through the trees. After further observation we discovered it is only on one lot, slight damp soil, tall trees. We are wondering if it is a type of bioluminescent fungus or an insect. Do you have any idea? @gfsvc April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
Regarding the large daisy, in terms of natural selection bigger isn't necissarily better. Bigger organisms require more nutrients and more oxygen to maintain. Thus even if that mutation was genetic it may not be passed on to the next generation as it's simply too ineficcient as compared to the other members of the species. In simpler terms, a bigger car may seem more impressive but it can be outcompeted in fuel consumption by a more compact vehicle.

Who is this lady?
@NoahFroio April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
5:55, wow, I live in Northern California and am 55 years old, I have been driving for almost 40 years, and I remember bug splatter being a thing on the windshield when driving in the late 80's through the early 2000's, but, for the life of me, I can't remember a single splatter I had to clean in the last 10 years.... yikes!!
@Orius25 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
This guy looks like every biology teacher I had in university. They're all super eccentric people. A lot aren't very nice either, at least as teachers.
@blake7587 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
Apparently this dude thinks we should let people in Africa and the Middle East all die of starvation to address the unproven left wing theory of climate change 🤦‍♂️
@blake7587 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
No. There is no “confirmed” climate “crisis”.

Why do Liberals always think their crazy ideology suddenly is a fact?

The climate always changes. That’s what climate does.

These people apparently think the dinosaurs must have been driving cars around or something
@Tybren April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
Love these videos, but I have not experienced a shortage of bug splatter on my windshield, and birds do a phenomenal job of getting out of the way of vehicles relative to mammals.
@SaffronSphinx April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
Let's hope he never tries to start a cult. He could make anything seem fascinating and logical.
@bigboi1847 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
Why does he say whale like that???
@aeen6013 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
the parisians should just release an army of lizards to get rid of the bed bugs
@jackmedlock5888 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
Did this dude just say 25%-85%???
@JD-go2qj April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm

@jonathanseibert8832 April 5, 2024 - 3:26 pm
