Upgrading The PS2 For 2022

The all Sony blue PS2 is super rare. I think only Eminem got one from PlayStation.

Bluetetro adapter to use a dualshock 3 would be more authentic and still offer pressure sensitive buttons for the games that use them. Or you could use a dualshock 4 or dualsense 5 for games that don't.

The best way to fix all cooling problems of ps2 buy a server case and mount all the parts of ps2 without the plastic case and put 4 pc fans at server case it cost about 50 dollars the server case and fans cost about 30 dollars dollars 🤔

Replacing the disk drive with a blue ray maybe decrease install times but i dont know if there are any available for the ps2 something to think about nontheless

Playing it on an old tube TV is still the best option for the best picture quality

As for the controller you can actually get a dongle and use a ps3 or ps4 controller

glad to see they learned from the ps2 days when making the original ps4. i thought that installing a new fan would be easy because there was no soldering but it requires a full teardown.
