Microsoft wants to be Netflix on every tv, phone, cpu whatever. Saw this coming 8-10 years ago. Just wait till games mimick all the subs for shows and movies like apple to watch this, paramount to watch that, prime to enjoy this and crunchyroll to have that. It's going to be the same here people. Give it another 8 years and you will only be able to play epic games on the epic games app, Microsoft content on their app. And so on and so on. Why you think they were buying up as much as they can. Just like others, they all want their own content for the future. Looking forward to the Sega app...what a great future, keep buying digital sheep.

Dude who cares. Let everybody play games on the system the love. I’m a hardcore Xbox player but recently got a Steam deck and loved the PlayStation studio games on.

Bragging about Hi Fi Rush being available for "free" with Gamepass while at the same time complaining about the games on Xbox going to PS5/Microsoft rewarding their customers' "loyalty" is the peak lacking self-awareness. Xbox players proudly don't buy games and Microsoft wants to sell games.

Idk how this guy has a journalist job when he does little to no research on actual facts. Consoles are not declining. PlayStation and Nintendo are growing double digits. Only Xbox is declining. Sure mobile market is expanding faster but that’s due to accessibility and usability , rather than a demographic change as Ryan suggests. Millions of people 14 and younger had a ps5 on their wishlist last Christmas so this claim can’t be further from the truth.

Xbox should make a portable console like the switch , it should have two modules like the switch and its dock, the dock can have a powerfull hardware while the screen module should have a mobile hardware part for gaming at 30fps and 720p or support cloud gaming Atleast. Combined together it should have the power of series x for playing at 60fps 4k
Now that graphics havent improved in games like it did in ps4 era, Handheld gaming is going to be the future

For it to work, Xbox needs better games. Their exclusives are weak.
