For everyone still asking which console they should get, here's my answer, get both. That's what I'm planning on doing one day. I'll even add a Nintendo Switch Oled in there as well to satisfy my wants.

I have a Ps5 but I really miss the simplicity of owning an Xbox when I had a 360. Ive met so many friends and had a better time online than Playstation

i got the new xbox switch and ps5 and i love each one of tham in there own way xbox u got a lot of choice ps5 got amazing exclusives and switch got mario and zelda and u can take it on the go all of tham are amazing to me and im happy with alll the consoles i have

I opted to get a xbox just recently, I have always been a pc gamer, but now that new games are coming out that my computer is starting to struggle running, i opted to buy a console since it was cheaper then buying a whole new laptop. I loved xboxes gamepass and the library you get with gamepass, I also prefer forza over any PS game except for ratchet and clank, which i saw was on steam, so that made me decide on xbox.

Have both now and my main argument is exclusive games. I will say this once… in my opinion, Xbox has no good exclusive games. None. Forza is ok I guess but I’ve always hated Halo. I feel like it’s the most over rated franchise of all time. I’ve never enjoyed it. And thank you for mentioning another Xbox exclusive. Gears of war. Yep don’t like it either. So yeah bottom line PlayStation has all the good exclusive games which is why I always felt like I was missing out until I got one

Neither due to Microsoft does not make xbox X to be able to use PC type flight controllers with it. Why even buy it when it lacks flight and driving sim controllers. Sounds better just to buy a good ASUS gaming laptop for a gaming setup and hook it up to your TV for display with a gaming chair, seems to give you way more options for controllers using this with game pass. WAKE UP MICROSOFT and start making more sim controllers to work with Xbox X or just stop making and selling your Xbox's.

Maybe if you don't have every light in your home on when you play ps5 games then you can see the screen and not break your homes lights and see that the moneturs are not the same and isn't worse

this will be the first generation of consoles that I will not own a playstation. PS5 is expensive. Sony is too greedy.

I grew up playing the xbox 360 and one then got a ps4 and man I love both PlayStation and Xbox. I broke my ps4 though sadly and have been playing on the switch for the past couple years and it was a very acceptable console for what I was playing at the time. A couple months ago however I was wanting an upgrade and started seriously considering the digital ps5. I thought it was an amazing deal and still do tbh. Until I found out about game pass and just how extensive it is. That sold it for me and I started trying to figure if I should get the series S or the series x. Then the carbon black series S came out and I was set on it. Started saving and planning for it.. then black friday rolled around and dropped the series x by pretty much $100. That was a $90ish price difference between the 1tb series S and the X. I ended up getting the series X and have had it now for over a week and it has been amazing. Love it. But I also am wanting to potentially get a ps5 slim in the future. Just trying to wait and see what sony does. Until then I am completely satisfied with my decision
