If Bo Nickal fights Chimaev today, Who Wins?

I've seen Bo beat some tough dudes. Khamzat is just another tough dude he can beat

They both dont fight enough for young guys who are suppose to be super stars. when the hell is bo fighting

Bo is not a beginner. Maybe MMA is new but high profile high pressure against monsters for opponents is Bo’s specialty. His nights out is everyone else’s championship. Now imagine facing Bo knowing that. Chimiev would get run over, flatten and probably embarrassed.

I don’t think people understand the difference in wrestling level here.

Bo Nickal in just freestyle is incomparably more decorated than Khamzat and did it against incomparably better competition. He won the US nationals, US Open, U23 Worlds beating the returning champ Shamil Zubairov and Russian national champ Batyrbek Tsakulov. He beat 4 time Asia championships medalist Alisher Yergali. Qualified for US olympic trials, only losing to David Taylor who then won Olympic gold. He trains with and has gone up against Olympic/world champions, who always complimented his ability. It was argued he very well could’ve been Olympic champion was it not for David Taylor and probably still could be if he committed. People thinking 3 Swedish nationals is even remotely comparable is ludicrous.

Not even mentioning what he is actually known for which is 3 NCAA nationals and a silver, 3 time Big Ten’s and bronze, a Dan Hodge Trophy, 2 Schalles Awards, NCAA Championship MVP and Big Ten Athlete of the Year. He beat the likes of gabe dean, and Myles martin multiple times. He is considered one of the greatest and most dominant of all time. Which is already proven the most successful base for MMA.

But while Khamzat looked disappointing against an old, out of prime, no knees, short notice usman from a division below, on a 2 loss streak after a headkick KO late in his career. Usman who is a division 2 wrestler I might add. He still is more experienced against better competition in MMA for now.

Chael have bo nickleback fight Adesanya. Strickland vs DDP so DDP can have his face turned shredded beef and sit out for another 6 months. Strickland will take the belt if they give him the rematch he deserves after sleeping Adesanya and brutalized DDP.

I think right now I go with Chimaev. I think Bo is a little better wrestler but I think Chimaev is significantly better at striking. I think Bo needs another two years of experience before he gets there.

Nickal vs chimaev is my personal super fight. I don't have any other match in the ufc that I would rather see.

I would go all in on bo. Ive seen bo live 20"from the mat. The guy is really good. Now he's knocking guys out. I haven't even remember seeing kanzat chimv fight honestly.

Bo beats him. He won’t submit Bo in the first round and by the second Bo will still be fresh and hamzat will be tired. Bo gets him out of there end of the 2nd beginning of the 3rd.

Chimaev would beat him and I know I'll get made fun of for this opinion but I don't think Bo is gonna be able to handle a guy who can defend his wrestling and probably punch harder than him. I also truthfully think with khamzat having such a big frame he'd likely be able to secure at least a takedown or two on Bo.

Khamzet wouldn’t be able to out wrestle or grapple with Bo. I think they both have equal power in their hands and khamzet may be better with his hands. With that said, I believe Bo would win. I think Bo would out wrestle him and eventually take him down. Hold him down? That’s tough to say, but I think Bo has it…

I say this purely on what I have seen him do even with “cans.” Anyone who has watched Bo wrestle in college knows he will go out and bang and dominate. He made THE best guys look like “cans.” It’s not surprising that he can do this with pro mma fighters.
