Third person half-life 2 is basically the Gordon Freeman model from Half-Life 1 running in Source lol. Sad that they didn't take death match more seriously but thanks to counterstrike and Gabe let them be the official multiplayer

I remember playing CS 1.5 or 1.6 like 12-15 years ago with bots having fun with the thirdperson console command, it was, of course, barely usable, but fun nevertheless.

Vampire The Masquerade was a source engine game with optional third person mode, it wasn't bad but was very source-jank. It being an RPG sort of helped, but I remember and I'm sure most players remember switching between both cameras in VTM during the game, but animations, scripting, and hit-box/gameplay seemed very undercooked in third person and the game feels less jank in first-person mode.

I'd argue it's better than Postal, and I figured you were building up to that, shame...
