He said "im interested in steves 25k for 95 percent.. and you dont want to sell 50 percent to steve and I".. effectively telling them they dont want to give up half there company, and saying you have to make a choice between us.. THEN pitching himself. Masterclass in setting up a pitch in your favor before making an offer.

This idea is genius. And the guys are right. They don't even need licencing if they build the brand. It's a bit like funko pops, there's copies and off brands everywhere. But only 1 funko pop and that's what gets the recognition

Definitely do a license deal with NFL, make team specific ones that play clips of old highlight commentary. It would be phenomenal..... Might just steal the idea and use football helmets instead of balls as a work around for the patent🤔
