You can add Troy Gentry to the list. He was one half of the country music duo Montgomery Gentry, and died when the helicopter he was in clipped a powerline and went down.

Thank you so much for doing this. I am not from Ricky’s generation but through reruns he was the first guy thst gave me butterflies in my stomach. My first crush. I had just turned 9 when he was killed. I came down my stairs on NYD and turned in the tv. My parents were still in bed and I started crying and my mom came in and had to console me! I hope to be able to go there and pay my respects one day! If I had to chose between one or the other I’d to go to California and pay my respects to Eric Hilliard Nelson at Forest Lawn. May all those who lost their lives that day rest with the angels. 🕊️😭 I ADORE YOU Ricky! ✨

the Randy Rhoads crash is especially tragic. That tour was being done by bus....they safely make the 665 mile trip from Knoxville to Orlando overnight, only to still get killed in a plane....a plane that was going absolutely NOWHERE. The flight was not a part of any tour or anything...just to joy ride and "horse" around. Just incredibly stupid....

I've read articles & seen numerous documentaries saying that the alleged drug use on Ricky Nelson's plane has now been dis-proven & that there is no evidence to substantiate that rumor. It's a pity that it was repeated in this video.

Aaliyah’s pilot was high on cock.. then she didn’t want to fly, they have her a sleeping pill and put her in the plane.. also Lenny Kravitz sent her a different plane cause she didn’t feel comfortable with the other planes but her music director took the plane! Her death was a set up..

You forgot Jenni Rivera the QUEEN of Mexican Banda music who died in a plane crash in Mexico on her way to Teluca, Mexico from Monterrey, Mexico after a performance to go to participate in Mexico's version of The Voice. Her plane went down in Iturbide, Nuevoleon. She was Mexican American and was HUGE. We another Latina ICON.

Sometimes just waiting a few hours can cause weather to improve. Sadly extreme pressures on pilots to go when normally would say no. I am a pilot. If you really need to go use an airline not general aviation. Even if you own your own plane. Physicians break this rule too much which means high fatalities physician flown planes.

Most of them would have been avoided by not flying at night. Sleep after the show. Fly in the morning.
