sorry not sorry but big and pac should be way higher due to the fact that hip hop has taken on over as the most popular genre of music on the planet (they have soooo much to do with that) and they fact they both were murdered (taken away) on top of the fact they were 24 and 25 respectively when died. y'all be kind of disrespectful with the criteria of these lists. but it is whitemojo we talking about here.

This probably should be a top 20 list, too many to limit to just 10. No mention of Janis Joplin, Prince, Jerry Garcia, Bon Scott, Keith Moon, John Bonham. Kurt Cobain should probably be higher, so should John Lennon. Kurt Cobain defined the 90s and grunge. Lennon was about to have a resurgence with his "Double Fantasy" album. All in all a good list
