Reports started hitting social media and game reporting publications that Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Starfield and Indiana Jones were all going to launch on Playstation in the near future. XBOX said nothing as these stories were circulated, resulting in Phil Spencer finally responding on Twitter. What he had to say did not help the situation…

I own all 3 systems specifically for exclusives. If xbox wants to be a publisher to focus on good games i dont see it as a bad thing. I think as a consumer its beneficial, less split player base meaning more full games on a multiplayer aspect. If xbox is still 3rd and by a large marigin they gotta do something. Consoles are sold at a loss to bring people in and make money thru their games, theh need a new way to focus there strong suits and be a hell of a publisher and take time to make the games great. Ya it sucks if u don't have a ps5 but i can see xbox still releasing the games on current console but the next generation they might just focus on publishing

So I solved this issue long before Phil Spencer started speaking madness I own both ps5 and series x got them both the year they were launched when finding a new gf was easier then finding a ps5 aww the good ole days as we’d say now so in turn I don’t really care 🤷🏾‍♂️ sure my series x is probably gonna become a paperweight but that’s ok cuz mods on bathesda games has always been better with xbox so that part is disappointing I don’t wanna play elder scrolls 6 on ps5 😔 it’s a tough life but oh well

Idk why ppl so worried about Xbox. Sure sell them the games they get for free. Doesn’t mean Xbox dying it means they expanding fr. You buy an Xbox for gamepass get all those games that ppl on pc and ps paying full price for..where’s the problem?

Yeah the whole console wars thing is a huge waste of time and energy and just another thing for people to get upset about. We all know how much people like having something to be upset about. I chose Xbox because I like having staggered joysticks on my controller, it’s more comfortable for my hands and wrists. That’s literally it.

I’ve watched MS from the beginning and I can say that integrity , loyalty and anything that blushes as a bastion of good will has Never been a playbook.
You buy their console, “buy” the game (although, to them you are leasing it. You don’t Actually own it) and then you Must pay a subscription to play the game.
Big fat hairy “Nope!” To that ponzies scheme.
Sony is no better.
Remember when they did what they (all console companies) could do end pc gaming? If it weren’t for stream, that might have been the case.
Glad I haven’t given consoles any money for decades. Last time for me was N64.

Y'all rlly don't get it 😂 Xbox just needs to invest in top of the line technology for their steaming service now and not try to flip every single one of those machines to be in your home. You pay a small price and can play a huge library of games on the TV you now took the funds that would have gone to a console and funnel it into your budget for the bigger better TV to stream your games with maxed out graphical setting on. Now they just need to sell yearly gamepass subs that'll come with a current gen controller and they've got a system 😂

Microsoft already said this years ago when they released their latest console. They said will either go full digital or stop being in the gaming industry. The console selling is making them lose money it's the hardware that is lucrative and low cost. If they own the games and services and don't need to sell consoles they win and playstation win too if they can make a good profit on their side and on the console by selling them for higher price since no competition.

Exactly why would you buy an Xbox?,even if you get a game 12 months exclusive, all you are is a beta tester for a game with all it's bugs patched out in the first few months of owning it. Even 3rd party why would you bother developing for Xbox when as you said PS has the monopoly. That already happens in Japan where let's be honest, no one gives a stuff about Xbox over there. There's only one reason to stay with Xbox and that is, if you have already invested in their eco system.

I m gonna chime in as a former PlayStation 1-3 owner and switched to Xbox 360 (1st gen)-series x. I feel very strongly against allowing PlayStation to ever have a game pass or Microsoft exclusives. PlayStation/Sony time and time again has been proven to be baiting the gaming industry development with exclusives for Sony/PlayStation only. I grew tired of seeing these exclusives and their player base literally smearing their toxicity across the gaming community. Remember when they (Sony fans) review bombed starfield simply cause they couldn’t play it? If it were the other way around, Sony would stick the nose high in the air, smell their own sharts and never release exclusives, oh wait they already do that….😂

As a gamer not a fan boy of platforms. I play them all for different reasons.

Why I think they dont care about the xbox platform, as you said pc sales and xbox is on pc. So looking at it already Microsoft owns a bigger market of the gaming space anyway, in the so called console war's bullcrap.

Why not cross release for multiple reasons. Main, money im not blind to it been about money, second is people who have a ps can play them, and frankly😮 fan boy stuff over consoles i dont get and never will, not interested in hearing fanboys word's lol because if Microsoft does this, that means Microsoft is moving in on the psn network. Who cares if the ceo of sony won't give the xbox the last of use because its on pc, Microsoft already has a hold on PlayStation, so why not give ps fans (because talking controller, PlayStation destroys the xbox controller on every front) but game's Microsoft fans have 2 options and PlayStation has 1.

Microsoft own crash, Spyro the face of PlayStation. No body thinks damn i grow up playing the last of us. Even younger gamers like me son goes back to older games on the xbox.

But that's my thoughts on it, nothing really, other then i can't see a issue. Xbox fanboys stop been greedy and PlayStation stop giving away everything amazing just to hear rumours of ps buying Ubisoft 🤮 a couple great games wont deny but Ubisoft come on.

I will never touch digital games, I'm not wasting my data cap on games or streaming anything. Im good never gaming again when it is all digital. Also there are zero xbox games that I have wanted to play.
