Happily married, you should have never started.

Great movie!… Super actors. No violence but a lot of emotions. Thanks

This is why the Bible says to flee from lust and adultry. You can't fight it. Just run as fast as you can. So few people know this and so many lives are ruined. Parents and kids, the pain never goes away. Run just run.

The movie is truly engaging. A new love can appear to "fill empty spaces" when it seems nothing else will change. But when things change, a new void is created. The illusion of having one's cake and eating it too is the illusion of a new love "filling empty spaces", one would guess.

Jacqueline Bisset's acting was outstanding.

Yeah she had no problem flirting with the married contractor and it was obvious he was on the verge of putting the moves on her before her mother walked in. Dirty cheaters! One step below child molesters.

What a sorrowful tale of the heartache & uncertainty that adultery creates. My ex wanted us to “live as roommates” instead of getting divorced when I caught him cheating. He’d already treated me as a platonic roommate for most of our marriage but I would not let him ruin the teeny amount of self esteem I had, I just couldn’t do it. When we filed for divorce he became angry, spiteful & started spreading false rumors about me. It took three years of physical, emotional & financial hardships to get my life back & some semblance of self love & to finally understand the emotional abandonment & gaslighting I’d lived with for 25 years.

If my husband ask for a leave of absence, I would tell him he’s fired

Brian was a fabulous actor

Brian Dennehy was such a class act: never seen a bad film with him in it. He was even better when he portrayed a bad guy!! Actors of his calibre are few and far between – sorely missed.

@lillianwilliams5510 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

I just realized he always plays a womanizer or cheater on his wife.

@brandonmills9577 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

What a smuck…

Hi from Australia 🇦🇺 Love anything Brian Denehy is in! ❤

@marissavallejo2987 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

This movie kind of reminds me of the 80s movie Six Weeks with Dudley Moore and Mary Tyler Moore. Except in that one he falls for MTM but it is her daughter that has a terminal illness. There is never a physical relationship but they are clearly in love. While he spends all his time with them, his wife is hurt, angry and basically waiting for him. It’s a sad movie.

@cherylwhite8445 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

What great actors.

@jenniferthreatt8455 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

They had grown apart and she never got to do what she wanted ( the wife). She flourished when she got him out of the house.

@wendyelsey7765 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

I couldn't believe that he could even think that his wife whom he betrayed would wait for his mistress to die and then go back to her as if it was nothing. What??

@BernadetteSwemmer-jz7yl March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

Brilliant movie!

@tinadavy3990 March 28, 2024 - 11:41 am

A VERY SHALLOW MOVIE.
NO DEPTH OF CHARACTERS. WASTE OF TIME.
