What do you think was the smartest decision ever made by a character in a horror movie?
@ps1laracroft989 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
The smartest decision in every horror movie is be a cameraman they are so freakin invincible
@CordeliaWagner1999 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Getting pregnant during the Apokalypse of hyper hearing Monsters is extremely dumb.

Covering yourself in mud, Predator.
@crimsonknight7011 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
I would also have Freddy vs Jason, when they pull Freddy out of the dream world and into Crystal Lake so he has to fight Jason
@itfigurescomics6704 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Very neat decisions 0w0
@seattlevixen March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Cabin in the Woods is one of the best "wtf is happening" in the middle of a movie ever. It's hilarious, scary, and clever!!!

11:55 "Why does this button exist in the first place?"

Two words: PLOT CONVENIENCE.
@porpus99 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Here is how you handle 'It Follows'. The movie shows the monster is physically there. Even people who cannot see it can interact with it. Fill a super soaker with diluted paint. Walk around near some police or other witnesses, then spray the invisible thing to show everyone there is something there. There, now the thing is visible, and you can just keep walking or get a ride away from it. Maybe get the military interested to catch the thing for study.

I didn’t realize how many horror movies there are.
@Heyya01 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Erin was bad ass in You're Next
@erichanastacio9695 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Freddie Krueger, The Thing, The Evil Dead, and Friday the 13th...

I've seen them.
Also Jason vs Freddie

The cabin the woods thing is stupid. There are a lot of people down there just doing their jobs to keep the planet safe from being destroyed by forces beyond our understanding and these two idiots get them ALL killed THEN they also willingly allow the ENTIRE EARTH'S POPULATION TO DIE. Stupid film and a stupid ending.
@Chicagocanine March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
I’d argue that Dana and Marty made the worst decision ever in a horror movie by causing the end of the world 😖
@tesla-spectre March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Just that the escape in Cloverfield only prolongs her death
@gianlucaegleston8923 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Cabin in the woods was satisfying but don’t know about smartest moves because not only do they die but they basically destroyed the entire world

I imagine the Cabin in the woods button is the last resort if everyone Blacksite fails. Should everyone lose and you don't have time to set up one last hurrah trap, dump every monster you have into a facility you know is fully manned and pray to the old gods they're satisfied with the torrent of sacrifices.
@Peashooter_10 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Just be the cameraman. Works most of the time.
@HolyFlare484 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
the woodchipper scene in A Quiet Place was also smart
@werageasone March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Cloverfield lane

Was leaving the best decision?
@isolatedlife8535 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
I’m a few years late but there was a scene in the movie The Faculty as well, where they had used the science lab to make a chemical that would show who has the parasite after they snort it (although the queen was smart enough to pretend to take it but had instead used her pinky to open it and let it leak out before pretending to take it)
@FlamesAndShadows March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Cabin in the Woods end is ambiguous, since the bad guys were doing things for continued survival of humankind, had facilities all over the world (even if now theirs was the last one who didn't fail this period) and the protagonists victory only bought them enough time to smoke a joint together. Though yes, the 10 glorius minutes after the system purge button was purged alone worth price of admission

Makes me think though, the not-Wolfram and Hart were getting progressively clever and innovating in continually giving the beings very specific sacrifices who followed narative patterns and fit the archetypes, but they never tried researching ways on how to kill them, make sleep deeper or fool into accepting sacrifice by churning out actual movies and spilling appropriate amounts of donated blood or something? Make facimilie of whatever they actually got out of the ritual, I mean
@FlamesAndShadows March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
The fan from 'Misery' didn't know that the fanfic era was soon to come
@FlamesAndShadows March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
never seen it, but I legit thought the blood or inc from the pen would stain her hand which she will later use to mark the invisible man, not just self-harm so he would come closer
@Shreyo.69 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
It follows is the Netflix version of rings concept 😂
@SpecialOrder935 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
I think mine would be Ripley not letting Kane back on the nostromo… only for ash to let him in seconds later 😂
@janbielchowicz8046 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
The easiest way to beat "IT follows" is to become one of the people to go to mars

The problem with the Blair Witch sequel... There isn't a Blair Witch. Total fail.
@squidwardtentacles2736 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
The blood test scene in The Thing is and will always be my favorite in horror movies. The tension is so palpable and you can practically feel the anxiety from the characters expressions. Simply brilliant
@ivayloivanov7231 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
Get Out is very idiotic woke movie!
@leonielson7138 March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
#4 I like that Dana looks to Marty, the real virgin, for permission before pushing the button.
@handsprand March 27, 2024 - 2:16 pm
my personal favorite: laurie strode creating a fortified home that also worked as a trap for michael.
