The next pitch comes from yoga instructor Thierry Giunta, he’s looking for investment for his new way of doing yoga’ with a step for better balance and precision – the “BeamBlock”. Thierry wants to follow a business model of selling the blocks to gyms with a licence fee for Beamblock classes, but Sarah has a different strategy up her sleeve.

An international sensation, Dragon’s Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

I really don't think this is a good biz idea. You can easily replicate this with colored yoga blocks. And since yoga moves are all standard anyone can do it using your own blocks. Unless there is another whole set of modified yoga moves that cannot be done without this apparatus at all, then at least there is a shot at making money.

His company is dissolved and has a net worth of about -£112.000. I feel kind of bad for him because he spent so much and risked so much but honestly, the idea was just silly. It was just another fitness gadget that promised to be something completely different.

He's obviously not a great instructor, I mean he'd have some kind of revenue. He simply made something material up to manipulate something that stands alone.

After watching the revelation behind this pitch I have to say the one dragon Thierry really needed wasn't in the den on the day ! Had the ice cream entrepreneur been present things may have worked out different , especially had Sarah been involved . Good luck to Thierry on his future path 👍
