I don't mind if I play a single player game with stable 45fps up to 60fps but with an amazing visuals and ray tracing
It's a single player title after all not a fortnite or valorant so I need 100+ fps
@xZxOxVx March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
keep pressing number 2 to see whats going on
@Personian March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
I love that they seem to be taking into account indie devs when developing Unreal
@SENPAI.Popaii March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
yea yea nanite... but games will still be shitty full of microtransactions. makes no difference.
@777Tralfaz777 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
That looks awesome. Too bad triple A game developers are all trash now. ☹
@LazerBeam69 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Bro the volumetric clouds and fog are already in Red dead redemption 2
@CodyOGoins March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Games using this engine are going to be EPIC! I can only imagine a Ghost of Tsushima: 2 with this Engine. Or, Kingdom Hearts IV (4). It's going to be insane, man.

Funny, GTA6 is gonna be a complete JOKE graphics-wise
@Scymaster March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
unreal engine is already 10 years ahead of other game engines
@tenthlegacy1707 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
That's amazing. Can games be converted to this platform? Say you want to remake Command and Conquer or convert Skyrim?

Maybe AI agents working together could do something like this in the future.
@thomasduncan6678 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
It's trash. Will be used by trash developers working for trash corporations to make trash games and they will include a cash shop.
@ayron419 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
the capability is the most impressive part in my opinion. The textures, including light and fog, will need to be built or at least heavily customized by the game studio to ensure the game looks and feels unique. This is an incredible pack to demo the functionality of course though. For studios that do put in the time and effort to fully build out their environments, including textures and maps, will have equally insane results imo.

This didn't cover everything but most of these features are for cinematics. it got me toying with the engine and its definitely crazy powerful but developers are as limited as their client base. A developer can't release a game that requires a $10,000 pc... its gotta be dumbed down for a reason. however i am playing around with it in a different way because it opened up some huge doors for insane amounts of game content and interactivity. The particle options and using nanites can make the game look a lot better and still run smoothly, but you have to consider a lot of things and that's mostly going to be level sizes. Get into the dynamics of level sizes and you'll realize these larger terrains or environments are taxing your system the worst. then they try to customize it all in ways the engine compiler wasn't designed too and bug city... they are all doing the same thing, so i started this endeavor to be creative within the confines of the software and see how well it runs. My tests have concluded that developers are accustomed to making the engine do what they want, but this changes everything because artists can now build games and will do it creatively with the software's confines. Which means in the near future you'll see tons of brilliant single player games and maybe even multiplayer. As far as making mmo's, you gotta be a Stanley Kubrick kind of mind and learn how to trick everyone with illusions and its beyond difficult, but i got faith that artists will figure out ways to do it within the software's confines over the next few years. This means the game market is going to get tough for these old school developers and indie teams. You're going to be competing against extremely artistic solo creators that are producing very fine polished products. Its gonna change everything, so much so that i was able to setup a level, procedurally generate almost everything and launch it working with a rough ui in place on a dedicated server in just 4 hours. i used free assets testing but i mean its so unbelievably amazing. After a month of toying around, its become too easy and thought to myself why not take a deep dive into the cinematic capabilities and found that if the level terrains are small enough, you can actually play hyper realistic games with a mediocre pc system. So yeah taking a poke at developing a basic space mmo layout after seeing spacebourne 2 and it absolutely hurts my brain trying figure out how to trick the player into seeing what i want them to see when there is transitions being made from level to level. Seriously need Stanley Kubrick's ghost to help with that and am finding myself studying film making to figure out better ways to build the levels as everyone out there is just butchering it. Every system i have seen hasn't impressed me except spacebourne 2, that game is breaking ground for sure. But for a basic story game with stuff to do, this new design platform and releases has almost endless artistic capabilities for artists without even knowing how to code.

you can tell this isn't starfield, because there's a vehicle.... i'm losing it... After you land your ship, you walk everywhere... This is the way, Todd Howard way
@LuneYork March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Not meaning to be offensive, really, but why do i keep getting your reactions videos suggestions right after every kind of video i watch? It's so annoying.
@Raben2 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
2:46 these are the reasons why players somehow manage to slip below the ground and thus discovering bugs. Even way before UE, these kind of technique were used and loads of bugs were discovered/patched because tiny creases from stacked objects.
@naterinosan6920 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Imagine if Minecraft ran on Unreal-
@NakiriX1 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
its really cool and all but im still gonna play games that are made within 5 hours
@SideOfHustle March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am

@brandonspiesman2627 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
So life is Unreal 100 we just closing the gap slowly but surely
@reidachtymichuk8582 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Lmfao why is this shit not in any games yet??? The developers are so lazy they don’t even use half the tech
@warmad2596 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
God... Imagine World of Warcraft with these graphics. Sheesh.
@TJay7777 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
I feel like im the only person in the world that could careless about this. Devs need to focus on content and bettering their games instead of some boring dead games that last a week all because they have “pretty” graphics lol..
@kasperschouboe4111 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Do WE live in unreal engine 6 ?? Cus wtf is the next step 😮😅
@ivanbnv8354 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
will the UE 5 games that come in 2024 be easily updatable to 5.3?.
optimizations and dynamic detail are enough for me.
@sheldoncooper8199 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
The lighting and shadows look really impressive.
@IanVallance March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Get real, these unreal5 tech demos will not represent a full retail game
@Jebu911 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
Personally I dont like photorealistic graphics and considering all the most played games i think thats the norm.
@melindamassey14 March 25, 2024 - 8:57 am
