10:42 Fr dawg that’s gotta be 29 😭
On our post if there was more than three soldiers walking anywhere- you had to march.
Yes, I’ve marched to Do Wah Diddy Diddy.
Semper Fi Mac
Ever since a couple years passed of me being in the military, watching military movies has become such an annoying chore.
Well played, Jody. Well played. The greatest trick Jody could ever do is make people believe that he's just an Urban legend that doesn't exist
3:00 last time I had a drill sergeant yell at me like that everyone was stareing at me after i pushed his knee out of socket I put his hand behind his head and scream back at him let's see you do a push-upafter i got off i was kicked out
I slept on top of the blankets. Never covered up.
Of all of the Marines, GQ chose the box of crayons?
GIVE ME 25 pushups for everytime your girl is getting pumped by joey this week 😂😂😂😂😂
There was no script for Ermey in a lot of those scenes. The director just let him ad lib.
I feel like the white barracks in Jarhead were an artistic choice. Possibly relating to sleep with feelings of comfort and peace, versus the difficulty of being a marine.
The infamous card, my basic instructors simply had you count to just shy of the number then they would say ONE!
14:55 dumped it out. Tell you to put it all back before they count down. & speed up the counting to ensure you never finish. First day anyways. Most flustering experience I can recall about bootcamp. Maybe because it was so early on.
why this marine so obese
We need DI’s in the school system!
“Sit up straight and shut your mouth!”
11:00 your expert repeats the myth that the original m16 was made by Mattel; it wasn’t made of plastic either
Drill Instructor are fools! If I ever have some one to stand in my face and treat me like this, It's going to get VERY UGLY FAST!
I am getting ptsd just watching all the boot camp scenes 🙈
He’s not a marine he’s phony he said drill sergeant it’s drill instructor he’s not a marine
I'm surprised he didn't say anything about the "sir sandwich". That's not a thing. Yes, sir! No, sir! Aye aye sir! You don't sandwich the sir in front and behind. Might have been historically accurate for the time period of the movie, but not anymore.
I hear the Gunnery Sgts will knock the bunks over if you do not get out of the bunks in time
Laporta is a liar. A complete fraud. He's been caught lying over and over again.
Nice to see a regular vet, not just Jocko Big Boy vets.
I would never publically admit that I have been in a gouvernment issued brainwashing organisation
This dude looks like the one Marine that would get a boot to the face. You can tell by looking at this McNasty lol
I can tell you used to be a marine based on your voice sounding like youce been yelling nonstop for 5 years😂
Spent many a weekend down at Ft Knox, KY….and usually stayed in the same Barracks that were used in Stripes. Been by the Bus Station a lot and used to know the base like the back of my hand…
